My eyes widen before they fall tightly shut. I cover Tina so that she won't get hurt and wait for the vase to fit me directly on my face and I make a potential trip to the hospital. But the pain never comes. But the glass-shattering noise sure does. My eyes snap open to find Erwin towering over me, covering us with his body. His eyes are glinting dangerously.
I gasp, "Oh my God!" My lips quiver and my heart stops for a bit before kickstarting in a threatening rhythm. "Erwin! Are you okay?! W-Why did you…" I trail off when I spot big beads of blood dripping down the back of his head. My eyes touch my eyebrows.
"I am fine." He jerks his head and taps it with his palm a few times, his gaze is unfocused. "I am fine." he repeats and looks at me concernedly, "Are you alright? Did you get hurt somewhere?"
