"Did you find anything, John?" I ask as I lean closer to his computer to get a clear view of the letters and words written on the screen.
"I am looking into it," John replies, squinting at the screen.
I don't understand what the hell in the world he is typing but I am aware that it must be something very important. I am very tense about Erwin and Ruth. I don't know how they dealt with James. And believe me, I don't want to think about that motherfucker even for a minute. But the thing is I am very curious about how Jean got James out of jail without my knowledge. I made extra sure that I got informed every time he visited or tried to do something like bail him out.
