Isabella writhed, clutching Hunter's arm that was above her as he continued to make love to her with such tenderness yet depth. She felt a tickling sensation, wet, her entire body seemed to burn in pleasure, torn between wanting it to end but finding it too enjoyable.
"Agh ... God ... So deep!" She looked down, watching Hunter's masculinity move in and out of her perfectly.
"Emh... Look at me!" Hunter groaned.
Isabella looked at him and immediately received a fierce kiss as Hunter's movements grew faster, making her body tremble even more, her legs shaking.
"Emmhh ..." She clung to her husband tightly, then gripped his hips. "Please, please... I can't!"
"Wait ... Agh, I'm gonna come!" Hunter groaned, moving quickly until he thrust his hips hard, releasing his fluid deep inside Isabella. "Aggh... Oh my God. Ugh!" He panted, motionless.
Isabella also panted, then released her grip on Hunter, gently pushing him away.
"I'm Hot," she said.
Hunter smiled, kissing Isabella before moving away from her. "Thank you for the second round," he whispered.
"Yes ... Give me time, I'm so hot," Isabella replied, then turned her position to curl up with her back to Hunter. She closed her eyes, occasionally swallowing her saliva, trying to steady her breath, her legs twitching reflexively due to her still throbbing womanhood after reaching the peak of pleasure.
Hunter glanced around while wiping his masculinity with his pants until he spotted the fan mounted on the wall near the switch. He quickly got up from the bed, turned the fan on full speed, and returned to the bed.
He used Isabella's cropped white tank top to wipe his sweaty body, slicked back his hair, and lay down behind her.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm sleepy," Isabella murmured without turning around.
Hunter immediately hugged her from behind, then pushed away the hair that covered her neck and planted a small kiss on her shoulder.
"Aren't you sleepy?" Isabella asked.
"I can't sleep because I already slept on the plane," Hunter replied while stroking Isabella's arm. "There's also a lot I have to think about," he continued.
"About what?"
"Of course, about us, because we've taken a serious step, and that means I have to prepare for our future to be better."
Isabella pondered over Hunter's words, recalling how she ended her relationship with Joe earlier that evening.
"I don't think we need to prepare anything for the future… It doesn't seem appropriate because Joe is suffering because of us," she said anxiously.
"I know you still care for him and feel sorry for what you've done to him, but that doesn't mean you should deny yourself happiness just to equalize the situation with him," Hunter replied calmly. "You have to learn not to think about it, not to think about his happiness… Now, you and he have your own lives…"
"I know that, but it's very hard not to think about it."
Hunter sighed deeply, releasing his embrace on Isabella and turning to look at the ceiling while placing his left hand under his head.
"You will keep thinking about it… Your anxiety, your suffering, it also comes from your mind… You won't find peace if you close your eyes to the beauty before you just because you keep thinking about your mistakes or other people's suffering, which isn't entirely your fault either. All you have is yourself, your body. Don't you deserve to be happy? Don't you deserve to be a priority?" he asked, turning to Isabella, who immediately shifted her position to lie down and stare at the ceiling. "I'm here, trying to make you happy… I'm your future… Isn't it better to think about us, which would benefit us, rather than thinking about others who might not even think about us?" he asked again.
"You talk as if I have no humanity," Isabella murmured.
"No…" Hunter shook his head, smiling faintly, and looked back at the ceiling. "We truly have humanity, while they don't! Do I need to explain it to you one by one?"
Isabella remained silent, still thinking about Joe's current situation.
"Joe doesn't have humanity towards you because he let you step into a marriage just to get money, which isn't even that much. I'm sure he could've given you that money. He was only thinking about jealousy, thinking you would fall in love with me, but did he consider that what you were going through was also very difficult? You had to adapt to my family, you were pressured by my mother's attitude, yet he made it even harder by wanting to meet you without understanding your situation." He turned and lifted his head, using his left hand for support. "Do you pity a man like that? Do you not want to be happy just because you're haunted by him? Or perhaps haunted by the beautiful memories of you two that hold no benefit whatsoever?" he wondered, raising his eyebrows.
Isabella immediately pouted at Hunter.
"Am I wrong?" Hunter asked again.
"Yes, I know you're right, you're always right!" Isabella turned away from Hunter, annoyed. "I'm indeed stupid, and that's part of your bad luck because you have a stupid wife like me!"
Hunter chuckled and quickly hugged Isabella from behind.
She remained silent, pouting.
"Honey… I'm not saying you're stupid… I'm very lucky to have you… There's no bad luck," Hunter said gently.
"But I am stupid, I'm weak, and I always prioritize feelings over logic, that's why I always stuck with Joe even though he never showed his seriousness," Isabella replied, frowning. "I always realize my mistakes, but I can't change my principles. My feelings always get in the way."
"But now you're on the right path… You chose your husband… I don't mean to say I'm better than your ex… But I do feel superior in terms of logic… Isn't that right? What's your opinion about me and him?" Hunter asked.
"You're good, you have everything to support your good nature, Joe is good too, but unfortunately he's poor, so he can't give me what I need… Maybe he's sad because of that… He chose to give up," Isabella replied, then turned to face Hunter, frowning. "Can we stop talking about him? My head will explode!" She snapped in frustration.
Hunter laughed, pinching Isabella's lips.
"You're cute when you're mad!" he said.
"Hunter!" Isabella pushed Hunter's hand away from her lips. "You're making me upset!"
"Really? Didn't I just make you so happy a few minutes ago?" Hunter asked, laughing. "Who was calling me over and over? Oh, Hunter… I love you, oh my…"
"Hey, that's not funny!" Isabella giggled as she tried to push Hunter away, but failed and instead got trapped beneath him.
"What if we do it again so you won't be upset?" Hunter asked with a teasing smile.
"You're crazy!"
Isabella immediately slapped Hunter's lips, covering them with her right hand.
"I don't want to anymore, I don't want to be exhausted, especially since tomorrow I'm taking you to my father's grave, and maybe I'll take you to my old workplace," she said.
"Hmm, sounds interesting." Hunter kissed Isabella's cheek. "But actually, I prefer spending time here with you, so… Let's go to the grave the day after tomorrow." He lay back down beside her.
Isabella rolled her eyes. "You just want to have sex all the time!"
Hunter only grinned.
"Now tell me about your plan," Isabella said, taking the blanket and using it to cover both of them.
"I haven't figured out the detailed concept yet, but the main point is I'll start pretending to recover, and then after that, we'll go on a honeymoon wherever you want," Hunter explained, then turned to Isabella. "As I said, I want to give you the world… We'll have fun, and experience freedom, and I want people to see that I can protect you," he continued.
Isabella frowned, looking at Hunter's intense gaze on her.
"Do you agree?" he asked.
"That means we'll really be like a normal couple…" Isabella slowly smiled, her mind already expecting a honeymoon around the world with Hunter.
"Of course… We'll be able to be like other couples, dancing, walking in the park, visiting tourist spots, I can carry you without having to hide… We can do anything without having to bring that damn wheelchair or cane!" Hunter explained with a smile. "Doesn't that sound wonderful?"
Isabella nodded, her eyes shining with happiness despite still feeling uncomfortable because all this happiness was built on Joe's suffering, and even Juliana, who opposed their relationship.
....
Joe staggered to his feet after placing his glass on the bartender's table. He glanced around, seeing people chatting while enjoying drinks and snacks, then walked toward the main door, occasionally holding onto anything nearby to keep from falling.
"Bro!"
A man in a white shirt and black pants approached him and grabbed his shirt, stopping him from leaving.
"It's better if you stay here until my shift is over," the man said.
"No… I just want to go home!" Joe replied, waving his hand until the man released his grip on his shirt.
"Hey, you're drunk, you won't be able to drive!"
"I don't care!"
"Hey, you could hurt yourself!"
"I even want to die!" Joe shouted as he continued walking, ignoring the man who kept ranting behind him.
Once in the parking lot, he immediately sat on his trail bike, put on his helmet, and sped off toward the main road.
Throughout the journey, his eyes dimly observed the gloomy and quiet night scenery, prompting him to speed up his motorcycle.
"Isabella... What are you doing now? What has he given you that made you choose him?" he wondered, recalling Isabella. "I thought you were a good girl who would never be with a man just for his wealth... But so quickly you were captivated by him and threw me away as if our love meant nothing all this time... You're cruel... You're cruel, you just thought I didn't want to make our relationship serious... I even wanted to marry you if I could... I wanted to, anyone would want to marry the girl they love! But everything needs a process... It needs certainty, and you don't understand that... You're cruel... You're like a witch!"
Joe gripped the motorcycle handlebars tightly, clenching his teeth until his face tensed, his eyes fixed straight ahead, not realizing he had run a red light.
In an instant, a car from the west struck his motorcycle, sending him flying until he fell, crashing into the grass by the roadside.
"Ugh... My back..." He groaned helplessly, his body unable to move. Slowly, tears streamed down his face. "Isabella... Is this what you wanted... This... You're cruel... You're not yourself anymore! You will cry in regret if I die now!"
