Chapter 7 - facts about Hunter

At 2 PM, in a rush, Isabella entered the room and found Hunter sitting in a wheelchair facing the glass wall as if looking at the scenery outside.

She sighed, suddenly overwhelmed by guilt for leaving her husband alone when she was supposed to always be there for him as a wife, especially since she was a contract wife. She had received money from his mother but she had left him lonely.

"Joe's idea is crazy... I can't leave Hunter... No... I'm not a bad woman... I must fulfill my duty as per the contract, and I can use the remaining money to start a business for my future," she thought anxiously. "Now I just need to hang in there and focus on Hunter. After all, he is so kind and wouldn't be able to hurt me in his condition."

"Has your brother left for Seattle?" Hunter asked without turning around or moving his wheelchair to face Isabella.

"Um..." Isabella walked closer nervously and became even more anxious when Hunter suddenly turned the wheelchair to face her, allowing her to see his handsome face with a cold gaze.

"Why is it hard to answer? Are you hiding something from me?" Hunter wondered.

Isabella smiled faintly, shaking her head.

"No... I'm not hiding anything. I just, I just..."

"I know what you did," Hunter said before Isabella could finish speaking.

Isabella was stunned, confused, and scared. Of course! She immediately recalled her meeting with Joe.

"What? What... Do you mean?"

"Who is he?" Hunter asked.

"He... Who do you mean?" Isabella asked back nervously, even more anxious.

Hunter smiled faintly but suddenly stood up.

"Hunter!" Isabella immediately approached and hugged him, supporting his body as if worried he would fall. "Please don't do this... I don't want you to fall and get hurt again!"

"Do you think I'm that weak?"

"I know you are eager to walk again, but you can't force it!" Isabella exclaimed while continuing to embrace Hunter. Suddenly, he released her embrace and pushed her slightly away from his body. She was shocked, looking down at her husband's legs that stood firm as if without any weakness, then looked into his dark brown eyes. "Hunter... You..."

Hunter turned to look at the wheelchair, then lifted it with one hand and threw it into the middle of the room.

"I don't even need that damn wheelchair!" he shouted.

Isabella gasped in shock, reflexively covering her mouth with her right hand, seeing the wheelchair crash to the floor and then turning back to Hunter, who was staring at her intently.

"How... How could you..." she stammered, while Hunter approached her and gripped her cheeks with his right hand, making her lips pout slightly.

"Hun... Hunter, you..."

"Do you think I'm stupid?" Hunter asked, bringing his face closer to Isabella's. he could even clearly hear the sound of her heavy breathing. "Do you think I'm weak? No... I will be the most frightening thing in your life!" he emphasized, also pushing her until she fell on the floor right beside the bed.

Isabella gasped for breath, feeling very dizzy and scared, turning to Hunter, who approached her again, surely not expecting him to be able to walk and even be very strong.

"You're not paralyzed?"

"Then did you hope I would be paralyzed forever?" Hunter asked while squatting, looking into Isabella's eyes, which continuously showed fear. "Do you want me to be a weak man so you can carry out your plan to deceive my family? To deceive me?"

Isabella swallowed her saliva, her mouth now stiff, unable to answer, thinking that Hunter already knew the answer because he might have already known what she was hiding.

"What is your plan with that man?" Hunter asked. "Who is he? Why do you dare to take on this job while you have him in your life?"

"Who do you mean? I don't understand!" Isabella turned her face away, curling up and leaning her back against the edge of the bed. "You are strange? You are mad at me while I am also very shocked at what I saw... You couldn't spontaneously be strong... This must be... You must be deceiving me!" She turned back to Hunter with fear, even her eyes already red.

Hunter remained silent with his sharp gaze, but the worry was also visible on his face.

"Does your family know about this? I'm sure they wouldn't deliberately deceive me... They wouldn't benefit from deceiving me!" Isabella shouted again.

"Ugh, don't talk about that!" Hunter waved his hand. "Now tell me who that man is, he is your boyfriend, right? You lied to me, didn't you?" He pointed at Isabella's face.

Isabella fell silent, staring into his dark brown eyes intensely.

"I can't be weak, no... I'm sure he is deceiving me, and I must use this fact to make him not angry at me even though I lied to him!" she thought.

"Tell me who he is!" Hunter shouted while glaring.

"He is my boyfriend!" Isabella shouted, turning her face away. "And... And that's not a problem for you because our marriage is a contract marriage! Everything is not based on love!" she continued with a pounding heart but trying to act bravely.

Hunter immediately fell silent, clenching his jaw as if in emotion, even clenching his fists.

"And we don't have any plans," Isabella said, turning back to Hunter, scared to see his angry face. "We... We don't have the right to continue our plans as long as I am still your wife... So... You don't need to worry. I'm yours... Don't be angry about this," she continued nervously, unable to hide her fear.

"You're mine?" Hunter whispered.

Isabella just nodded, swallowing her saliva, then looking down to avoid Hunter's gaze.

"But... But please don't tell anyone about this. I didn't mean to deceive you or your mother... The situation was urgent... I... I couldn't do anything else but accept the offer to marry you," she said anxiously.

Hunter took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled, gradually relaxing his clenched fists and moving to cup Isabella's right cheek gently, realizing the fear in her eyes.

"Please, don't be angry," Isabella whispered, trembling. "I... I promise I won't make an issue out of your lie as long as you also cover up the fact that I still have a boyfriend... I..."

"I don't want to hear that anymore," Hunter whispered.

Isabella was stunned in confusion, Hunter's gaze made her afraid while also feeling strange, wondering if he was still angry or maybe starting to want her.

"Do what you have to do... I don't want to waste the time I have with you," Hunter said again.

"What?" Isabella whispered in confusion, even more confused as Hunter brought his face closer. "Hunter... What..." she couldn't finish her question because the man immediately kissed her lips.

She pushed his chest and tried to turn her face away, but the man followed her wherever she turned, not wanting to end the kiss until she closed her eyes, and of course, her heart pounded!

"Emhh..."

Hunter kept kissing Isabella aggressively while holding her neck, feeling her response.

"I knew she would want me, I knew... She must be mine, she must forget that damn man!" he thought, then ended the kiss and pulled Isabella to stand.

He cupped her jaw, making her look up until their eyes met.

"Hunter... I..."

"I don't accept rejection," Hunter whispered while caressing Isabella's lips.

Isabella trembled, staring into his wild dark brown eyes, making her very afraid and trying to push him away.

"I can't... This is not like..."

Hunter kissed her again, not letting her finish her sentence. He pushed her until she lay on the bed, continuing to kiss her without giving her a chance to refuse, even placing both her hands above her head and pressing them with his left hand while his right hand locked her neck so she couldn't turn away.

"Emh..."

"As you said, you are mine!" he whispered with a cold gaze.

Isabella was silent in tension and fear.

"Don't make me angry again... I'm your husband!" Hunter whispered firmly.

Isabella swallowed her saliva, gasping for breath, and suddenly Hunter got up from her body, then sat down leaning against the pillow with his legs stretched out. She immediately sat up, thinking this was a chance to negotiate again, but she was so shocked when her husband unzipped his pants and revealed his majestic and erect manhood.

"Come on... Do what you have to do, this is the first time for us because we are husband and wife," Hunter said with a serious look.

Isabella swallowed her saliva, her throat suddenly feeling choked.

"You... You don't... you're not impotent," she whispered stammeringly.

Hunter smiled faintly. "You already know I lied about my paralyzed legs," he said.

"Did you also lie about being impotent?"

"What do you think?"

"Hunter, how could you do that... You..."

"Come on, you see, it's already up!" Hunter shouted in annoyance.

Isabella was silent in confusion, until suddenly Hunter approached again and pushed her to lie back down, then hovered over her body, locking both her hands with his hands.

"Don't act stupid!" Hunter whispered with a cold gaze. "You know everything now... You know, I want you!" he continued.

Isabella turned her face away, feeling so suffocated and scared.

"Hunter, please... I'm not ready, I have a boyfriend!"

"I don't care about your fucking boyfriend!" Hunter shouted with a sharp gaze. "Understand... When he allowed you to marry me, it means he is not good for you, don't be stupid because of love!" he continued angrily.

Isabella closed her eyes in fear, but slowly she felt Hunter stop locking her hands, even getting up. She immediately opened her eyes and sat up, turned around, and saw her husband getting off the bed and then walking away while fixing his trousers.
