A Day Before
There was very loud in the streets, this is the busy hour for most people and other's that are just visiting. One person that's looking down at the city trying to find peace to himself until someone walked in. "Sir, we got the furniture, where would you like to put it?" The man with bright blue eyes and brownish blonde hair turned around and look at the other guy speaking in a bit of a deep voice. "Put them in the basement, I don't want mother to see what we have, or she will ask questions." "Yes sir, lets go man put it in the basement." Has the men went down to the basement the mysterious man gave a little smirk while looking out the big window. "Ha, that man has no idea what he has done, don't worry mother, everything that was once yours is going to be again and I'll make sure of it." The man went downstairs and looked through the window to see his younger brother fixing his bike. He went outside and walked to his brother and standing next to him. "Oh gosh, bro you scared me I didn't see you walking to me. What are you doing." "Nothing, just wanted to get some fresh air, you fixing the bike?" "Yeah, the wheel was loose so I wanted to fix it." "Ahh I see." "You know....this was the last gift dad gave to us before he left, I can't believe it's been so long." "Ugh don't to me about him, I don't know why you wanted to fixed that. It's broken like everything else was in the old house, broken like how he left us and never came back." "I know...but.....maybe he will." "He's not coming back Atticus, he made his choice!" There was a silence between them. "I-I I'm sorry Ace, I shouldn't get upset about that, what happened happen and that's it. I'm going to help mother with dinner." "Okay." He went back inside to help his mother make dinner. "Hi mother, need any help with dinner?" His mother looked at him, eyes full of joy to see him, "Oh my son, dinner is already ready I already told you brother." "Hi mother, mmmmm dinner smells good, thank you a lot." "Thank you Atticus, come boys lets sit, now you guys know the deal, lets pray before we eat, come on." They hold hands, close there eyes, bow their heads to give respect to The Lord. "Dear Lord, thank you for giving us this wonderful day and giving us this wonderful meal to eat, has at first we had little now you gave more. Thank you God for this family, for my boys and this day. Amen" Amen they all said and started eating they all talked until all the food was finish. "Here mother let me give you a head." "No my love, thank you go help Ace turn the TV on. "Okay mother." He hangs out with his brother until it was time for bed, his mother put Ace into bed and was wondering about her other son. She went into his room to see him sitting on his bed and she can tell that he was thinking. "Son? what are you doing?" "Oh mother I was just thinking of the business, wondering if everything will be okay when I get back tomorrow." "Oh my boy, you have grown up so much, I miss it went you used to get in trouble a lot but now, your so mature and don't do it any more." She started to cry, not of sadness, but the thought of her knowing that her eldest son is at the age has she once were long ago made her emotional. "Oh mother, don't cry, this the way of life, we all get older." He hugs his mother well she is crying in his arms. She touches his face and smiles at him, "Oh my son, I'm so proud of you, for the man you have become, any women in the world will be happy to have you has their husband." He smiled. "Anyways mother i should get to bed now, Good night love you." "Good night my son, love you too."
