It's a beautiful fall morning in the UDC (University of the District of Columbia) in Washington D.C, the leaf's turning yellow, orange, red, and even pink too. In one of the girls dorm rooms there's Amber and Katerina that have been best friends ever since elementary school. There both getting ready to go to there mid morning classes. Katerina going into her closet while talking to her friend, "Amber what classes do you have today?" "I have Organic Chemistry and Calculus today, you?" Has she say it making breakfast for them. "I have Statistics, German I and Communications." "Wow Kate, I hope that your going to survive the day." Kate gets out from her closet with a shirt in her hands and put it one herself. "Yup I hope I do too, I'm kinda scared about Statistics I heard that it's hard." "Well you never know, Dallas took it last year and he some how was able to get a B+ in the class, so if anything you can ask him to tutor you." "Your right Amber thanks for the advice, also mini pancakes are smelling so good." Amber puts the pancakes on plates and puts them on there mini table. "Thanks Kate, do you think Dallas is going to be dorming again this semester?" Both Amber and Kate sit down and eat their breakfast, "I'm not sure, he told me he was having money problems so he might not this year but who knows. I miss talking to him, I mean we talk during text but like it's been hard to see him in these pass few months." "I know, I remember in high school when you guys used to talk all the time and everyone though that you guys were dating." Kate laughed "Haha.....yeah those were the good times I mean he did tell me that he had feelings for me at the end of senior year but we both didn't want it to distract us from our classes so we decided to just be friends." "Well, I mean you and him can try it, who knows maybe you guys will hit it off." "I'll think about it, I would have to talk to him about it first" Amber giving Kate a smile on her face and then her eyes turn to the clock that it was 9:50am. "OH SHOOT! I'm going to be late for Calc I'll talk to you later okay Kate" "Shoot your right I better be heading to my class too I'll see you later bye!" They both hugged and waved bye to each other going there separate ways. Few hours go by and Amber and Kate can have some time for themselves, so that meet up at one of the food courts. "Hi Kate how was your classes?" Kate sat in front of Amber, "Classes were okay how about yours?" "Mines were okay too, man still feeling a little lazy from the summer break, but I have to shake it off and be focus on school." "I can agree with that." They both laughed and then a couple minutes go by and they see Dallas walk in. Kate waved at him to come here and that's what he does. "Hi girls it's been a while since I've seen you guys how you've been?" He sits next to Kate while she talks to him, "We've been good, we got done with our classes a few minutes do you got any classes today? "I only have one today, it's physics and it's at 6pm." "Oh that seems cool." Amber is giving Kate the eyes to tell him about what they were talking about this morning. "Oh Dallas will you be free after your physics class, there's something that I want to talk to you about. "Yeah I'll be free to talk after class, where do you want to met up Kate?" "Here at the same spot." "Okay that's fine with me" They both smile at each other, in Ambers mind she is hoping that the talk goes well.
Ambers POV:
I hope that Kate and Dallas will get together, I would be really happy for them...well..... if they were to actually dating, would that make me the third wheel? In high school whenever I was with them, I always felt like the third wheel to them and tried to understand the inside jokes that they had but still won't be able too. Any time I would feel that way I would always hang out with my other friends, sadly they all gone to different colleges so it's only me, Kate, Dallas and couple other kids that came here last year. It's not that I'm jealous of what they have, but I just wish that I can have that too. I want to know the feeling of how it feels to be in love with someone and for that someone to be in love with me, maybe I'll experience it.... one day.
