Chapter 27 - The unseen force

The king, now powerless without his hand, screamed in frustration, realizing he couldn't use his siddhi. Misaki, with a sense of finality, said, "This is the end for you, King Alex."

But before they could finish him, a dark, ominous energy began to swirl around the king. His body convulsed as a sinister soul emerged from within him, hovering in the air. "This body is useless now," the soul declared, its voice echoing with malice. "I suppose it's time to use my true siddhi."

Akhil, trying to comprehend the situation, asked, "Your powers? What are they?"

The soul sneered. "Yes, the previous siddhi belonged to the king. But now, you'll witness the true power of a god's siddhi."

The entire planet trembled under the immense energy the soul unleashed. It moved with blinding speed, landing a devastating punch to Akhil's chest, sending him flying across the battlefield.

Kofi, enraged by the sight of his friend being hurt, shouted, "You monster!" He charged at the soul, intending to slice its head off. But as soon as the soul's hand touched Kofi's blade, it shattered into pieces, leaving Kofi in shock and disbelief.

The soul smirked as it explained, "My hand is surrounded by twisted wind pressures, so your blade will never reach me. Now, what will you do?"

Determined, Old Man Kapil and Henry launched an assault on the soul. Henry used his shield to protect the Old Man, but as soon as the soul's hand made contact with it, the shield shattered into pieces. With a swift punch, the soul struck Henry's face, sending him crashing to the ground.

Old Man Kapil, undeterred, charged at the soul and began throwing punches, but each one passed right through the ethereal figure. The soul laughed, taunting, "I'm just a soul. Your physical attacks are useless against me."

But then, with a determined glint in his eye, Old Man Kapil struck the soul using his stone siddhi. The impact was real, and the soul recoiled in shock, repeatedly asking, "How? How? How?"

Old Man Kapil responded with a smirk, "Just like your siddhi, my hand is surrounded by stone. Your intangibility won't save you from this."

The soul, intrigued and slightly impressed, replied, "Interesting. An old man fighting back with such strength. You're in your prime, Old Man, but it's still not enough to defeat me."

They clashed fiercely, exchanging powerful blows, each punch creating shockwaves as the intense battle between the ancient martial artist and the malevolent soul continued.

As Old Man Kapil's punches began to lose their strength, the soul sneered, "Your punch is getting weaker, Old Man. Is that all you've got?"

With a deep breath and a resolute expression, Old Man Kapil tapped into his ultimate power—Geokinesis, the ability to control sand, stone, rock, lava, and dirt. He summoned all the minerals in the surrounding area, gathering them into a swirling mass of energy in his hand. With a mighty roar, he released the concentrated force at the soul, unleashing a devastating attack that obliterated the entire castle in a blinding explosion.

When the dust settled, the soul was left battered and bruised, but still standing. The injuries were evident, yet the soul had not been vanquished. It looked at the Old Man with a mix of admiration and malevolence, saying, "This siddhi of yours is magnificent and perfect. If you were born on my planet, you might have been a king by now."

Old Man Kapil, still breathing heavily from the immense effort, glared at the soul and replied, "I don't want to hear that from you."

The soul chuckled darkly, "Don't be so rude, Old Man. There's power in your defiance, but it won't be enough."

The battle was far from over, with both the Old Man and the soul prepared for what could be their final clash.

Exhausted from using the ultimate power of his siddhi, Old Man Kapil was barely able to stand. The soul grinned menacingly, sensing its victory, and said, "It's my turn now. Let's finish this, Old Man."

Kapil, knowing he had no strength left to continue the fight, accepted his fate with a heavy heart. "I have no other choice now," he muttered to himself, acknowledging that he had lost this battle.

As the soul prepared to deliver the final blow, something unexpected happened—the Koyou planet's limit chain suddenly shattered. The powerful energy field that protected the planet was no more. The soul paused, its fist inches from the Old Man's face, and looked around frantically, trying to figure out who had destroyed the limit chain.

But no one was visible. The soul, usually so full of confidence, felt a chill of fear creep into its being. Something—or someone—was out there, powerful enough to destroy the planet's limit chain without being seen. The soul's bravado began to waver as it realized that an unseen force might be far more dangerous than it had anticipated.
