King Eothis nodded in agreement as he shifted his gaze to Queen Melinoe, his voice firm. "My people and I will hold no grudges against the Nagas and Najas, and we will work towards a brighter future, together. Henceforth, the Garudas, Nagas, and Najas will stand together, united against the true enemies of our realm. There will be no oppression of any sort as there will be mutual respect and we shall hold each other in high regards, not in ancient animosity."
As King Eothis's words echoed across the battlefield, the Naga army erupted into a deafening cheer, their voices and hisses mingling in a joyous cacophony. "Long live the Queen, Long live the Queen" they chanted, their fits in the air and their scales glinting in the sunlight as they raised their arms and weapons in triumph.
The sound of their celebration reverberated through the land, a thunderous expression of hope and unity. The Nagas, Najas and Garudas had now formed a newfound alliance, as they cheered together, their voices hoarse from shouting.
Kael, Zym, Zola, Mieza joined in, their faces beaming with joy, as they embraced each other. They had finally brought peace between the Garudas and Nagas. The cheer continued, a never-ending wave of sound, as the Naga army celebrated their newfound truce, the return of their Queen and the dawn of a brighter future.
Mieza placed a hand on Kael's arm. "You never cease to amaze me Kael." Kael smiled and hugged her. He replied, "I guess it's a bit of a bad habit." His voiced laced with sarcasm.
Zym and Zola exchanged a smile, their faces set in happiness. Ethel, however, looked around in awe. "So many Nagas... I'm impressed that you could fight them all on your own Kael, you truly are powerful."
Kael's expression softened. "We'll help them find a new path, one free from manipulation. Now they have their Queen back."
Queen Melinoe's eyes shone with gratitude. "Thank you, Kael. You've saved us all."
Kael approached Queen Melione with the Eye of Naga in his hands. The once-pulsing relic now rested quietly, its energy subdued. Kael held it out to her, his expression respectful.
"I believe this belongs to you, Your Majesty," Kael said, his voice steady. "The Eye of Naga."
Queen Melione gazed at the relic, her eyes softening as she reached out to take it. The weight of the Eye settled in her palm, and she could feel the faint pulse of its power, now calmed. "Thank you, Kael," she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. "You have not only returned our sacred relic but also restored peace to our kingdoms. I'll be forever grateful. My people and I owe you a great debt."
Kael replied, his voice calm, "No, you owe me nothing. It's my duty as a guardian to ensure that all the kingdoms of the realms are at peace and the realms are protected. King Eothis and Ethel approached. The Garuda king inclined his head toward Melione. "Glad you finally got your kingdom back, Queen Melione. Kragnir will miss your presence." Eothis boomed. "But now, it's time for me to return to my kingdom. My people will be eager to hear of the victory and the new alliance."
Ethel, standing beside King Eothis, smiled warmly at the Naga queen. "Farewell, Your Majesty. May peace reign in Oephidia for years to come. Now a new era will begin. One where our kind and yours no longer share ancient animosity."
Queen Melione returned their smiles, her heart swelling with gratitude and a newfound hope for the future. " Yes, Finally Ethel." She replied happily. Her gaze shifted back to King Eothis. "Farewell, King Eothis. You've been very kind to me, I will not forget your kindness." Her voice laced with gratitude.
With a final nod, King Eothis and Ethel stepped through the shimmering portal that Kael had created and returned to Kragnir. The portal closed behind them, leaving the guardians and Queen Melione alone on the battlefield.
Melione turned to Kael, Mieza, Zym, and Zola, her expression one of quiet determination and then turned to the Naga army. "It's time for us to return to Oephidia," she said. "It's the start of a new era, one filled with peace and prosperity."
The army cheered and nodded in agreement, and together, they began their journey back to Oephidia.
As they began their journey back to Oephidia, Queen Melione allowed herself a moment of quiet reflection. The once treacherous path that had led her here now seemed distant, replaced by the promise of a brighter future for her people. The weight of the Eye of Naga in her hand was now a symbol of resilience and renewal.
She thought of the lives lost and the deception that had nearly torn their realm apart, and she vowed to lead with wisdom, caution and compassion, ensuring that such a betrayal would never again darken the hearts of her people. With each step, Melione felt the chains of the past breaking, replaced by the hope of a peaceful and united realm, a future she was determined to protect.
