In a room adorned beautifully with flowers, filled with books about horses, fashion, and various other topics, sits Ivin on the bed lost in thought, Irene walked in, her presence filling the space with a quiet intensity.
"I haven't heard you talk about Tadio for so long. Is there any problem?" Irene asked.
Ivin turns to her hesitating before speaking. "Something happened between us," she began, her voice heavy with emotion. "He found out I'm of royalty."
Gasps "You didn't tell him?So how did he find out about it?" Irene inquired, mischievously.
"I have no idea. It just happened. Since then, he has been avoiding me. I don't know what to do," Ivin confessed, her frustration evident.
"Well, since he doesn't deserve someone like you, why not just leave him alone? Why not just forget about him?" Irene suggested gently.
Ivin looked at her, her eyes filled with pain. "I can't. It's just so hard. I think I'm in love with him besides we talked and we decided to give each other some space."
Irene laughed softly, a mix of surprise and amusement. "You're in love with him? Little sister I love you and I don't want
you to get hurt cause of a lowly servant who does not worth you,and you are too young for this. Just move on. Everything is going to be alright besides what do you know about love?."
Irene sighed, then laughed again, trying to lighten the mood, but the weight of the moment lingered between them.
"I don't think I should leave him," Ivin said, her voice tinged with desperation. "I really, really love him. I can't lose him. I've never felt this way towards anybody before. I think I should just wait and hope."
Irene replied"I don't want you to get hurt. It's obvious that he doesn't love you as much as you do."
Ivin sighed, but her determination remained unshaken. "I will just wait. I think that's what I need to do. Besides, I believe everything's going to be okay. He looked at me differently the last time we talked."
Irene asked with surprise evident on her face"What do you mean he looked you differently?"
Avoiding the question and trying to distract herself from the turmoil in her heart, she changed the subject. "Have you heard about the war coming soon? One of the neighboring kingdoms has declared war against us. What do you think father and mother are going to do about it?"
Irene now seemingly back to her own thoughts, responded with uncertainty. "I have no idea. I think they will figure it out."
The room fell silent once more, the weight of impending conflict hanging in the air as Irene contemplated her next steps.
After her conversation with Ivn, Irene returned to her room, feeling a mixture of frustration and determination. She sighed deeply as she stood before a large mirror that reflected her from head to toe. Twirling around, she admired her appearance, her reflection showing a woman of striking beauty and confidence.
"What is so special about Ivin?" she asked herself, a hint of bitterness in her voice. "Why does that handsome-looking guy, Tadio, like her? I'm prettier, I'm the oldest, I have power and When the time is right, I'll be the one to rule the kingdom. I'll be the most powerful. Why can't he just love me?"
Irene sighed again, the weight of her unrequited obsession pressing down on her. "I've been trying to get his attention, but it's not working. I even betrayed my sister. But still, nothing. Well, let's see how it goes. I don't know what's so special about Ivin. She's just so gullible and naive."
Feeling a mix of anger and determination, Irene lay down on her bed. Her mind raced with thoughts of how to break up Tadio and Ivin's relationship. She was determined to find a way to make Tadio see her worth, no matter the cost.
****Meanwhile********
In King Xavier strategy chamber, Mewa the lord of war sat alongside the resistance soldiers, including leaders from all the powerful clans. They were deep in discussion about the impending war declared on them from the Abstract clan. King Xavier, looking troubled, addressed them.
"What do you think we should do about the war? They are from my queen's clan. They have decided to turn against us. What do we do about them?"
Sir Ambrose, one of the clan leaders, suggested, "Why not negotiate with them? Maybe that would work."
King Xavier shook his head. "I don't think that would work. My wife, Queen Elena, has tried to negotiate, but they refuse. They want the Phoenix clan to give up been the strongest clan because The Phoenix clan orb has been low on energy and they see this as an opportunity to take over. What do you suggest?"
Sir Theodore, another knight, spoke up. "I think we should go to war. This is what they want."
King Xavier sighed deeply. "But I'm not the kind of person who likes shedding blood. I prefer peace."
Sir Theodore replied firmly, "But they don't want peace, so let's give them what they want."
Worried King Xavier turned to his wife, seeking her counsel. "What do you say, Queen Elena?"
With a heavy heart, Queen Elena responded, "They are my family, as you have mentioned. But since they want bloodshed, we will give them what they want, as Sir Theodore suggested.
King Xavier replied with a clear determination on his face "We have come to the conclusion that we are going to war with the Abstract clan. We will do so in the next two days, Let's make our plans and prepare for combat, send for the Combat Clan for their assistance . We need to get our food, energy and water supplies, saddle the horses sharpen the swords, replace the old swords, train the resistance soldiers, replace the soldiers who are unable to fight, get everything ready for the war. They want war?war it is.
" WE ARE GOING TO WAR"
With a shout of determination the council disbanded, and everyone returned to their respective homes to prepare for the great war ahead.
