Chapter 36 - Training

5 days later.

Zephyr finally finished building his small house.

It was a few kilometers away from the Golden Peony clan and was surrounded by trees.

Zephyr took a deep breath and then took a spatial pouch from his storage.

This pouch contained 1 million coins.

"Take this and use it to help stabilize the clan," said Zephyr.

He then handed it to Caiyi, who was standing next to him as she had come to visit him today.

Caiyi was so shocked by the amount of coins that she slowly accepted the spatial pouch.

"Many thanks, Zephyr," Caiyi said in a soft voice.

Zephyr just nodded and smiled at Caiyi before speaking.

"I will start absorbing energy from the essence stone now, so I will go back inside," Zephyr said before walking back into the house.

"Wait a moment," Caiyi suddenly said.

"What is it?"

"Can I come here sometimes to train?" Caiyi asked.

"The Golden Peony clan has a vast training area, why do you want to train here?"

"Uhh um.." Caiyi's cheeks turned red. Why did she want to train here?

She realized her request was quite awkward.

"Never mind, you can train here if you want," Zephyr added.

Caiyi was surprised by what Zephyr said but smiled.

______

"1 million coins!" The clan head exclaimed.

Inside the clan headquarters, the clan head was now in front and surrounded by the five elders of the clan.

They were all shocked, staring at the spatial pouch Caiyi brought, which contained 1 million coins.

"Caiyi, tell me who this benefactor of ours really is," the 1st Elder asked.

Before explaining, since Zephyr didn't want to be identified, Caiyi thought of a story to tell them.

"I don't know either, he was wearing a mask and just said that he has a big debt to our ancestor. He gave me the Silfate sword and these coins and didn't say anything else," Caiyi said.

The clan head took a deep breath and took the spatial pouch. With this help, their Golden Peony Clan could recover!

They were all very happy.

After that, Caiyi left with her Silfate sword.

She didn't mention the value of the sword, and the elders only knew it was a rare sword, perhaps even stronger than the ancestral sword of the Golden Peony clan.

If Caiyi had mentioned its true value, they would have been extremely shocked and might even try to take it from her.

Now, Touba was also in seclusion training because he wanted to become stronger. He didn't want a repeat of what happened before when he couldn't even protect his sister.

Caiyi held her Silfate sword, smiled, and then thought of continuing her training as well.
