Chapter 26 - Awakening of the East Blue Saga

Kai was walking along the deserted beach, far from the curious eyes of the villagers of Fosha. The sea was calm, its waves gently lapping against the scattered rocks, when he noticed something in the sky. A "News Co" bird was flying high, carrying a newspaper tucked in its leather bag. Kai's narrowed eyes carefully followed the bird before extending his hand to take the newspaper.

Kai gently opened the newspaper, the wind playing with his dark black hair. His eyes fixed on the main headline, where he read in bold letters: **"Huge Reward for the Capture of the Sorcerer Kai!"**. The picture was clear, and without a doubt, it was him. It was taken at the very moment he stood in Loguetown Square, staring at Roigan with eyes as cold as ice, as if he owned the world.

Kai wasn't surprised. In fact, a calm smile appeared on his lips. He had expected things to reach this point. But what he hadn't anticipated was how quickly the news had spread. The navy, with its ruthless and swift movements, had made him a target not just for bounty hunters but for everyone in this world seeking power or glory.

However, Kai wasn't foolish enough to underestimate the situation. He realized now that there was no longer any room for escape. There was no choice but to confront and prepare for a battle that might be bigger than he imagined. This pirate world, which he had always seen as a place of challenges and mysteries, had now become a dangerous battlefield where the strong devour the weak without mercy. If he didn't develop his Devil Fruit techniques and acquire a weapon to protect himself, his fate might be similar to that of many pirates who had fallen before him.

He let the newspaper drop from his hand onto the sand, looking out to the endless horizon. The sun was slowly rising, lighting the sky with a warm orange glow. It was time to take bold steps and make difficult decisions.

Kai resolved to continue his journey through the Kingdom of Goa. This kingdom, which held childhood memories for many legendary figures in this world, was for Kai a necessary stop to discover more about himself and his abilities.

The first place Kai visited was **Mount Colubo**. The mountain that had witnessed the training of Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, those boys who became legends. The wind was blowing strongly here, as if carrying with it voices from the past—the sounds of their laughter and shouts during training. Kai stood on the edge of the mountain, looking down into the valley that had cradled those memories. Every detail was vivid in his mind, as if it were pulsating with life before him. The thick bushes, the scattered rocks, and even the large tree that shaded them as they rested after a long day of training. Everything was just as Oda had meticulously drawn it.

Kai continued his journey until he reached **Gray Terminal**. This place, which had long been a stage for many dark stories, where Sabo had lived part of his life before deciding to join the revolution. The terminal was now abandoned, or so it seemed. But Kai could see traces of past life. He could imagine the boys sneaking between the ruins, searching for food or avoiding the soldiers' eyes. The atmosphere at the terminal was heavy, saturated with memories that even the wind couldn't carry away.

Kai wandered among the destroyed buildings, feeling the impact of his footsteps on the ground, as if they echoed the past. The place was as he expected, filled with the sorrow and tragedies that the children here had suffered. Yet at the same time, he felt a strange power emanating from those ruins, a power born from the solid will that led the boys to become great pirates.

As he delved deeper into those memories, Kai realized that this journey wasn't just about exploring new places but about discovering new dimensions within himself. He felt as if every step here was restoring something of his strength, planting a new determination within him to face the challenges that awaited him.

The Gray Terminal had served its purpose in awakening a part of Kai's spirit, but that wasn't all. There was another place awaiting him, a place that embodied authority and power in the Kingdom of Goa.

Kai made his way to **Goa Castle**, the place where the king and his retinue resided. This castle, which had been a symbol of tyranny for many, now stood before him with its massive gates and high walls. Despite all the memories it held, this castle was also a symbol of the new chapter Kai was about to write.

With steady steps, he approached the gate and began thinking about his next move. He didn't need much thought. He decided to open a new shop here, within the castle itself. A shop that would serve as a new starting point, where he could continue spreading his mysterious art and attract the attention of more people.

He knew that having a shop in such a place would have a significant impact. While the castle was a stronghold of power, his presence here would transform it into a place that carried a new message—a message of power that emanates from knowledge and art.

And so, Kai began building a new shop near the old castle of the city. The shop was simple in appearance, but it held within it an undeniable power. Kai knew that this place would witness a new beginning for him, in the heart of the Kingdom of Goa.

Once Kai finished building his shop inside Goa Castle, he stood for a moment, admiring his new creation. The shop was simple in design, but it radiated the strength and mystery that had always characterized Kai and his works. The ancient walls of the castle, which had witnessed centuries of absolute power, now housed his artworks. And here he was, Kai, standing amidst this intertwined symbolism, between past and present, between power and counter-power.

But Kai was not the type to settle in one place for long. The Kingdom of Goa was just another stop on his journey—a journey with no known end. Once he felt his time here was over, he spread his massive wings, which lightly and powerfully touched the wind, and took off at an incredible speed into the sky.

The wings, with their immense strength, carried Kai smoothly across the sky, moving between islands at a speed that exceeded any creature's expectations. For him, traveling swiftly between islands wasn't a challenge but a means to achieve his greater goal. Each island he landed on was a brief stop, where he would open a new shop, display chapters of his artworks, and then quickly leave for another island.

The islands Kai visited weren't just locations on a map; they were inspiring sites, filled with secrets and untold stories. Each island carried something new that Kai added to his works, and each shop served as a new gateway for his endless journey.

As time passed, night began to fall over the sea, and the sky gradually transformed into a canvas of warm and cool colors simultaneously. Kai stood on a hill overlooking the sea, watching the sunset. The wind carried the salty scent of the ocean, mixed with the aroma of the earth and wild plants.

Kai looked at the horizon stretching before him, where the sun was slowly sinking into the water, leaving behind a golden line that split the surface of the sea. At that moment, thoughts began to flow through his mind, thoughts about his next move.

Kai had always been inclined to move quickly, to draw chapters of his artworks piece by piece as if racing against time. But he realized now that it was time to change his approach. Instead of drawing one chapter at a time, Kai decided to create the entire saga—the **Saga of the East Blue**—and make it a complete masterpiece.

This saga carried within it countless stories and adventures—tales of sailors and pirates, of love and war, of courage and betrayal. Kai knew that creating it all at once would give him the opportunity to craft a cohesive story, intertwined in its details and strong in its structure.

As he pondered this decision, Kai felt something new, something he wasn't used to. The system that had accompanied him since he entered this world was stirring within him the idea of listening to suggestions on when to release the chapters. Kai wasn't someone who preferred waiting, but this time, he had to think deeply. Perhaps this next step required him to be patient, not hasty.

As the sun disappeared completely behind the horizon, and darkness slowly crept up the hill he stood on, Kai realized that his decision was the right one. He needed to take his time in creating the Saga of the East Blue and wait for the right moment to unveil its chapters. This decision wasn't born out of fear or hesitation but from wisdom that had matured with every island he visited and every step he took on his journey.
