Hospital scene
Mandy and Rain are reviewing a file together. Mandy flipped through the pages, her eyes scanning the medical history with practiced ease. "It looks like the patient has a history of hypertension. We need to be extra cautious during her pregnancy," she remarked.
i nodded, my brow furrowed in concentration. "Absolutely. We'll have to monitor her blood pressure closely and perhaps adjust her medication. Her heart health is crucial, especially now."
"I'll coordinate with her primary care physician and ensure we have a comprehensive plan in place," Mandy continued, making a note in the file. "And I'll need your expertise if any cardiac complications arise."
I smiled reassuringly. "You can count on me.
Incoming call from junior
"Babe"
"Biscuit"
"Miss me already"
"Yeah"
"Mh, what's wrong now?"
"Dad called"
"Okay"
"He wants us to have dinner, and my two sisters are in town"
Juni-""
"Biscuit, I know we're moving at a fast pace here, but I would really appreciate it if you meet my family"
"We're moving too fast"
"I know, let's just go with the flow, okay?"
"Mh"
"I'll pick you up when you knock off then"
"Okay"
"Love you, Biscuit"
"Love you too,"
Mandy looked up from the file, curiosity piqued by the conversation she overheard. i ended the call and turned back to her, a sheepish grin on my face.
"Everything alright?" Mandy asked, arching an eyebrow.
chuckled softly. "Yeah, just a little family dinner tonight. Junior's sisters are in town, and it looks like I'm finally going to meet the whole clan."
"Well, that sounds exciting," Mandy said with a smile. "Meeting the family can be a big step."
I nodded, my expression softening. "Yeah, it is. But it's also a bit nerve-wracking. You know how it is."
Mandy laughed. "Oh, I definitely do. Just be yourself, and it'll be fine. Families can be overwhelming, but they usually just want to see their loved ones happy."
My smile widened. "Thanks, Mandy. I appreciate you pouting. Now, back to our patient. Have you scheduled her next appointment yet?"
"Yes," Mandy replied, flipping through the calendar on her desk. "She's set to come in next Monday for a follow-up. We'll do another ultrasound and check her blood pressure."
"Perfect. I'll make sure to be there," i said, jotting down the appointment on my planner. "We're a good team, Mandy."
Mandy nodded.
