The city surrounded by high walls is called Orario.
This is the center of the world and the largest city in the world. It is also known as the "Labyrinth City Orario" because of its grand underground labyrinth.
After entering through the eastern gate of the city, Hoshiharu walked along East Street.
Orario has eight roads known as "main streets." These main streets spread radially from the city center, extending in eight directions to the large city walls surrounding the city.
Seen from above, the whole of Orario looks like a big round cake, cut evenly into eight parts along the eight main streets.
According to Andra, people distinguish the main streets by their directions. For instance, if Hoshiharu entered from the East City Gate, the street in front of him is East Street.
Once he stepped onto East Street, the first thing that caught his eye was a large, ancient Roman-style arena.
The arena was built directly opposite East Street, with the southern gate as its main entrance facing the main street. He saw many soldiers wearing armor entering and exiting the arena with high energy.
Aside from the arena, there were many shops and residences on either side of the street, mostly stone buildings. After passing a few buildings, alleys leading behind them seemed to extend in all directions.
Most of the passersby were human, but there were also demi-humans like dwarves and elves.
Among the crowd, Hoshiharu could even see a few figures with dignified appearances and an extraordinary sense of presence about them.
They were gods.
Hoshiharu recognized their identity at first sight.
Each had a unique kind of majestic fluctuation. That should be what Andra called Divine Power.
However, although they were clearly gods, they looked almost the same as ordinary people except for their majestic appearance. This was probably because they had sealed their Divine Power.
Throughout the journey.
Wherever Hoshiharu passed, whether they were human or demi-human, they would look at him in surprise and then respectfully step aside.
With his unique appearance, most people thought of nothing else but a god.
Some passing gods glanced at him hesitantly, as if wondering if they had seen such a colleague in heaven before.
Someone tried to approach and talk to him, but Hoshiharu ignored them completely. He quickly crossed the main street, brushing everyone aside, and headed toward the city center.
People could only regretfully stop pursuing him.
In the city center, where the eight main streets converged, there was a very large square.
The ground of the square was paved with bricks, equipped with evenly spaced gardens and a large fountain. In the center of the square stood a towering tower with no visible peak.
This massive tower stood in the heart of Orario, towering into the clouds. One could see the holy and majestic tower at first glance upon entering the city.
The body of the tower was made of clean white stone, and the diameter of the base was at least three hundred meters wide. One could not see the top by looking up, and people could live in a tower that tall.
"This is Babel Tower, and right below it is the underground labyrinth... But that's not what I'm looking for now."
Hoshiharu's eyes swept over Babel Tower. Although he was surprised by its scale, coming from the modern world, he wouldn't be shocked by such buildings.
After distinguishing the northwest from the southeast, he set his sights on the northwest road and then stepped onto it.
After advancing no more than three hundred meters, a grand building appeared before him.
This building was built on the side of Northwest Street, next to the pure white Babel Tower, facing the main street. It looked very spacious. At the moment, many neatly dressed people were coming and going.
"This is the guild headquarters."
Hoshiharu confirmed his destination and stepped through the door.
--Guild.
In short, it is a managing organization responsible for running the entire labyrinth city. Their authority covers all aspects, and they can be involved in anything.
The grand building in front of him was the guild headquarters in Orario.
After passing through the main gate, he saw the courtyard of the guild headquarters in front of him. Many grand statues were placed around it. After walking through the courtyard, he arrived at the hall of the guild headquarters, made of clean white marble.
The ground was mostly white and blue, with many circular carvings on it. The marble material made the ground look very smooth. There were also many notice boards hanging on the surrounding walls with many parchments on them.
The entire hall was very spacious; even if thousands of people crowded inside, it wouldn't feel cramped.
It clearly looked very ancient, but also somewhat modern. Various styles blended to form this otherworldly city.
Hoshiharu looked around and ignored the surprised crowd. Instead, he found the guild staff counter and approached the service window.
"Hello, what do you need to apply for... eh? Are you a god?"
The employee at this window was a human girl with shoulder-length pink hair, tied into a bun at the back of her head.
She looked about eighteen or nineteen years old, with a baby face. She wore a white shirt, a sleeveless vest on top, and the guild employee uniform with trousers on the bottom.
The girl uttered the usual line skillfully. When she looked up, her eyes sparkled, and she felt the whole world brighten up.
"I am a human and want to join a Familia. I'd like to know how to do that."
Just rely on your face.
Misha wanted to say this, but it was very rude, so she swallowed her words hard.
But is this guy really not a god?
Misha carefully observed the young man in front of her. Even someone like her, who had dealt with gods all year round, could confidently say that 99% of male gods weren't as handsome as this young man, capable of making many girls fall in love.
The man didn't look like a naturally beautiful elf or half-elf. After all, he didn't have pointed ears... Could such an extraordinary mutant appear among humans?
"Hello, are you listening?"
"Oh, um, yes... you want to join a Familia, right?"
Misha snapped back to her senses and immediately sat up straight.
"I'd like to know what kind of Familia you want to join? A business Familia, a crafting Familia, a farming Familia? Or an exploration Familia?"
