Denim's mind raced as he formulated a plan. Disrupting this operation could significantly weaken the Void Creatures' hold on the Southern Continent. But he would need to act swiftly and decisively. He carefully retreated from the cavern, making his way back to the surface to prepare for the assault.
As he emerged from the tunnel, Denim took a moment to gather his thoughts. He knew he couldn't do this alone. He would need the support of allies he could find along the way. With renewed determination, he activated his communicator, sending a message to his guild via the guild chat.
"This is Shadow Splitter, I've located a major Void Creature operation in the Southern Continent. I'll be going alone for now, I hope you all are doing fine there at the Western Continent."
With his message sent, Denim began making his way towards a seemingly rendezvous point where he hope to encounter other adventurers. The journey ahead would be perilous, but he was ready to face it head-on. The fate of the Southern Continent, and perhaps the entire world of Eternal Gods, depended on their success.
As he traversed the wasteland, Denim encountered scattered pockets of survivors—remnants of townsfolk who had managed to evade the Void Creatures' grasp. There were also some guilds and adventurer teams who were also there for a quest of fighting the voids' invasion and threat.
Maybe it isn't bad to have some companions in resisting the voids' invasion.
Denim muttered to himself.
One such encounter led him to a small group of people who bear the Southern Legion emblem representing the Southern Legion Guild, their camp nestled in a hidden grove. The group appeared to be in the midst of a heated discussion, their leader—a tall, imposing man with a scar running down his face—gesturing animatedly.
Denim approached cautiously, making his presence known. "Greetings, Southern Legions. I am Shadow Splitter, commander of the Lunar Knights from the Eastern Continent. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Are you, by any chance, hunting the Void Creatures as well?"
The acting leader turned to face Denim, his expression a mix of surprise and suspicion. "I'm Khael, guild leader of the Southern Legion Guild. What brings you here to this desolated area, I believe that this place was a no man's land after the void creatures' invasion, not to mention, you came from the faraway Eastern Continent"
Denim explained his mission, detailing the underground operation he had discovered and his plan to disrupt it. As he spoke, the tension in the group seemed to ease, replaced by a similar sense of objective.
Khael nodded thoughtfully. "Your knowledge and experience would be invaluable to us, Denim. We've been struggling to make headway against the Void Creatures, but with your help, we might just stand a chance."
One of the adventurers, a lithe rogue named Sakura Blossom, stepped forward, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Hello, I'm from the Midnight Coffee Adventurer team and we come across continents. I've heard tales of the Lunar Knights and their legendary battles from the game forum. It's an honor to meet you, Denim. Perhaps you could exchange some notes with me by dueling me on a one on one battle?"
