Under normal circumstances, it would have been impossible, as his passive defense field annihilated all incoming attacks before they could reach his skin. Yet, she managed to penetrate his defenses without being destroyed. His ability wasn't deactivated—her sword bypassed his shield entirely, cutting through him while it was still fully active.
