Chapter Four
A Broken Man
Raishin riding through the busy streets Whayno City he saw an all twenty four booking special at Iyomaka Hotels, this is exactly what I need some headspace and a big old breakfast Raishin thought to himself, he drove his motorbike and parked it outside, he took a bag out from the inside compartment of his motorbike then picked up Sparkles out of the front seat and squeezed him into his bag very roughly.
"A room for one please?" Raishin asked, the very friendly smiley woman nodded her head.
"And how long will you be staying?" the woman asked politely.
"One night" Raishin said.
"And what shall I put you down as?" the woman asked.
"Takashi, Takashi Oregami" Raishin said, I don't even know if my boss was serious about branding me a criminal but I can't be too sure, spies are sneaky and they'll find anyway to track me down and end me.
"Mommy, mommy I want to go Burger house" a little girl said, Raishin heard this little girl and watched her as she hugged her mother and they were sitting down four of them eating as a family.
"You can have anything you want princess" the dad smiled, the son was being rough with his food and eating very messily making his sister burst out in laughter.
"Come on eat properly now we're in public" the mother said.
"I want cat" the son said.
"You would like a cat for a pet son" the father asked.
"I want to eat one" the son replied making him and his family laugh out in such joy, Raishin watched them all as they laughed together feeling jealousy and envy but also serenity and love, it's as if I'm watching my past unfold Yuki she loved Burger House, Raishin chuckled to himself actually she loved all burgers and food she was a real big eater and Zenbu begged me for a cat I hated the idea of having a house pet but I really miss them my family.
Raishin walks up to his one night bedroom, it was small it only consisted of a bed and a small satellite tv that rested on a desk, Raishin took his shoes off, unzipped his bag that had Sparkles inside it and laid down on his bed, he closed his eyes deep in thought, I wonder what will happen if I really am branded a criminal I probably wouldn't be able to go anywhere without a different disguise or identity. Man, this is really something, Yamamoto won't answer my calls what is he doing? I wonder if Puscan agents already told him I killed Takashi and he thinks I'm a traitor that would be pretty fucked up Raishin was thinking, man I am very horny it's been three years since I've been with a woman since my wife died, I've just been relieving myself the old fashioned way Raishin laughed it's pretty pathetic but then again I'm not getting any younger I recently turned fifty, I must kill all my enemies Raishin started to doze off from deep thought into deep sleep, he was thinking about his wife, Sparkles jumped up and laid down next to Raishin.
My wife Eliah the most beautiful woman I've ever met, I fell in love with her the moment I saw her, my family didn't approve of her but I didn't care I knew she was the one I wanted to be with, Raishin was picturing her in his dream he had remembered her face perfectly from her bright brown skin and curly black wool type hair, to her violet purple eyes that were darkened black, I wish I could get to hold you again in my arms and never let you go bring you in tightly and kiss you once again Raishin thought, next to Eliah he saw his three children Kevin, Yuki and Zenbu they were all sitting around the table in their home enjoying dinner Raishin even remembered two of his other pet cats they had Sparkles mother Pebbles and his father BamBam.
"Father look what I drew today in school" Zenbu showed his father his painting that was very messy and not too accurate.
"Wow Zenbu" Raishin smiled mildly.
"Yep, it's me mummy, Kevin, Yuki, BamBam, Sparkles, Pebbles and you" Zenbu said.
"Zenbu my little genius, maybe someday you will be a great artist" Eliah said, Raishin smiled as he sat down and ate with his children.
"How was school today for you Yuki?" Eliah asked.
"I hate school I don't want to go back!" Yuki said.
"Why Yuki?" Eliah asked.
"The food is disgusting why can't you be my teacher mommy?" Yuki asked, Kevin burst out in laughter.
"I don't think things work like that Yuki" Kevin said.
"How are things on the soccer team son?" Raishin asked.
"There ok I guess; coach says I should intern for a professional team" Kevin said.
"Wow really brother! So, you'll actually get the chance to be a real soccer player" Zenbu said, Kevin nodded in a bored look.
"What's wrong son you don't look pleased?" Raishin asked, the table went quiet you could only hear Yuki scoffing down her food.
"I want to join the military" Kevin said, Raishin's face became serious.
"Now look Kevin we spoke about this it's a dangerous job! I don't want to hear another- "Raishin was stopped when he saw his wife's face starting to melt, his three children start crying and then they begin to melt away as well then Raishin starts to look around him and everything begins to melt from the dining table the cooker and television to the whole house until Raishin's dream took him into a black space with no light, Raishin drops to his knees and begins crying out and then curling up into a ball, after a few minutes of crying the scene changes to a red bloody one Raishin could tell was familiar from the smell, he saw his wife's dead body hanging there from the ceiling next to his daughter Yuki next to Zenbu's severed head, he screamed a loud in anger and wakes up out of his dream panting and sweating causing Sparkles to jump up out of the bed startled, he sits up on the edge of his bed wiping away the sweat, he sighed in a heap of stress and put his hand on top of his head.
"I'm sorry about that Sparkles" Raishin strokes his cats fur then gets up to look out of the window, will I ever succeed, I mean I got one supremist but the justice doesn't feel anywhere near complete I got no information out of him and I don't even know whether he was there when they died maybe I was misjudging the guy maybe he didn't need to die no I can't think like that they must all die and I must be the one to do it I've got such a bloody road I'm not looking forward too but I must Raishin thought to himself as he looked out the window crying and pinching and punching himself then he hears a knock at the door, Raishin quickly opens it only in his boxer shorts he is surprised at who he sees it is Realia the agent from Pusca she was standing at his door in a black night dress.
"How did you find out where I was?" Raishin asked confused, Realia didn't respond she just kissed Raishin shocking him very much.
"A good spy should know when he's being followed" Realia said, she kissed him again once again shocking Raishin she kissed him for longer eventually Raishin gives in to it, the two stare each other down for a while looking into each other's eyes, they kiss again walking into Raishin's room he slams the door very loudly, what am I doing, what am I about to do? Is this right Eliah? Raishin thought to himself, Raishin and Realia ended up making love throughout the rest of the night.
