Pipra woke up a little later than usual, the sunlight already creeping through the small window of the guest room. She stretched, feeling the warmth still lingering from where Seiji had held her throughout the night. But when she glanced to her side, he was no longer there. The bed was empty.
Her heart skipped a beat, and a small flicker of worry settled in her chest. She sat up, staring at the empty space beside her, her thoughts running wild. *Did he leave because I held back? What if... what if I disappointed him?*
She had felt his desire last night, the way his lips lingered on hers, the heat between them undeniable. She knew Seiji could have claimed her right then, taken her as so many women had fallen for him. And yet, he hadn't. He had held back, even though she knew it must have been difficult for him.
