Henry, his eyes dark and intense, sat on the edge of the hot spring, the steam rising around him. "You know, Lorian, sometimes I think about how we ended up in this mess." Lorian, his eyes softening, joined Henry in the hot spring, their shoulders touching gently. "I know, Henry. It's been quite the adventure, and sometimes I wonder if we made the right choices."
Henry, his voice hoarse, continued, "Do you ever regret any of it, Lorian? The choices we made, the secrets we kept?" Lorian, his eyes darkening, shook his head, his voice soft. "I don't regret a single moment, Henry. But I do wonder what would have happened if we had been honest from the start."
Henry, his eyes closing, took a deep breath, his desire burning within him. "I know, Lorian. I wonder too. But we can't change the past, only our future. And I wouldn't change a thing about what we have now."
