Leon stood before the towering Door of the Devourer, its dark surface looming ominously above him.
"Where the hell am I?" Leon asked EGO as he was the one that teleported him for a reason he didn't know, "Is this important somehow?"
Leon waited.
But no answer came.
"EGO?" he shouted again, but the companion didn't answer.
Or more like, he literally wasn't here.
"Huh... EGO can't get here? But why did he teleport me then..." Leon mumbled before staring at the door more intently.
Seven chains, thick and ancient, coiled across the door, each one holding a token-shaped keyhole at its center, just like those in arcades!
The keyholes glowed faintly, each one marked with a different symbol that he could barely make out.
