Leon stood over the crumpled form of the Elite Abyssal Knight, its dark armor still faintly glowing with residual shadow energy.
Unlike the other shadows he had fought, this one didn't dissipate into mist after being defeated.
[Yummers,] EGO's voice broke the silence.
Leon chuckled despite his exhaustion, "Yeah, sure. Let's see what we can get out of this."
Without hesitation, Leon opened up his mouth and from a fair distance used [Devour] to absorb the aura coming out of the shadow.

Leon froze, eyes wide as he read the numbers again.
"Seven… thousand… souls?" he muttered in disbelief.
That was an enormous amount compared to what he had been getting up until now, one that didn't even make sense!
