Nora staggered backwards a little bit dazed. She blinked her eyes trying to process what had just happened. Her knees grew weaker, as she tried supporting herself but all to no avail. She dropped to her knees, as blood began to gush out of her face. Her eyes flickered, and she fell face flat on the ground.
Mrs. Robinwood stood transfixed to the ground.
"Oh my God! What did I just do?" She dropped the half vase that was in her hand, and rushed over to Nora.
"Hello? Nora? Can you hear me?" She shook her violently as if that would touch her soul, and wake her up.
She began to panic, "I might go to jail for this! What if my husband is not able to get me out of jail?" She bit her quivering lips.
She looked around, "Water," she murmured. She got to her feet, and rushed towards where she thought would be the kitchen.
