Shaurya Raisinghani, the dynamic DM of Mumbai, stepped out of his car and onto the bustling streets of the city. He adjusted his glasses and began his walk towards the office building, his entourage following closely behind.
As he entered his office, he was greeted by his team of officials, who briefed him on the day's agenda. Shaurya listened intently, his mind already racing with strategies to tackle the city's ongoing projects and issues.
First on his list was a meeting with the municipal corporation to discuss the ongoing infrastructure development projects. Next, he had a conference call with the state government to discuss the city's budget allocation.
Just as he was about to begin his meetings, his phone buzzed. His assistant, Rishabh, entered the room with a somber expression.
"Sir, we've received some disturbing news," Rishabh said, hesitating. "A young girl was raped and her body was dumped on the middle of the road. The police have cordoned off the area, and traffic is at a standstill."
Shaurya's expression darkened. His eyes narrowed, and his jaw clenched in anger.
"This is unacceptable!" he thundered, slamming his fist on the table. "How can someone commit such a heinous crime? And in broad daylight!"
He quickly composed himself, his mind racing with actions to take.
"Get me the police commissioner on the phone. Now," he ordered Rohan. "I want a thorough investigation into this matter, and I want the perpetrator caught and brought to justice immediately."
As he waited for the commissioner to answer, Shaurya's anger simmered just below the surface. He couldn't believe that such a brutal crime had occurred in his city, on his watch.
He took a deep breath and began to pace around the room, his mind working overtime to come up with a plan to ensure justice for the victim and her family.
"This will not go unpunished," he vowed to himself. "I will make sure that the perpetrator pays for this heinous crime."
Shaurya quickly jumped into action, his team following closely behind. They navigated through the heavy traffic, sirens blaring, to reach the scene of the crime.
As they approached, Shaurya could see a sea of people gathered, their faces filled with shock and horror. The police had cordoned off the area, but the crowd was getting restless, eager to catch a glimpse of the scene.
Shaurya's eyes scanned the crowd, his gaze landing on two faces - Anokhi and one unknown girl with her , They looked pale and scared, their eyes fixed on the scene before them.
Shaurya's heart went out , but he can't do anything at that moment
Anokhi's eyes widened as she took in Shaurya's presence. "Shaurya sir," she said in her voice trembling.
Aradhya:- tum jaanti ho inhe
Anokhi:- hnn inhe kaun nhi jaanta
Aradhya:- haa inke baare mein Maine bhi bhaut kuch suna hai bhaut acche insaan hai
___________
Shaurya turned his attention to the police officer in charge. "What do we know about the perpetrator?" he demanded
The officer hesitated before speaking, "We're still investigating, sir. But it looks like a case of rape and murder. The victim is a young girl, barely 20 years old."
Shaurya's anger surged again, his mind racing with ways to bring the perpetrator to justice. He knew that this case would be a tough one, but he was determined to see it through.
As he began to coordinate with the police and his team, the news channels started to arrive, their cameras and microphones at the ready. Shaurya knew that this case would be a media sensation, but he was determined to keep the focus on the victim and her family, rather than the perpetrator.
After that Shaurya asks the officers to clear the traffic and seal the road. But reporters come and surround Shaurya.
On the other side
Aradhya:- lo traffic bhi clear ho gya hai mostly
Anokhi:- hnn, ek kaam kro tum bhi mere saath chlo aaj mere ghar
Aradhya:- pr mai kaise
Anokhi:- dekho bhaut der ho chuki hai aur ab college jaane ka bhi koi fayda nhi aur tum akeli hostel mein kya krogi
(Look, it's too late and there is no use in going to college, and what will you do alone in the hostel?)
Aradhya :- ohkk
After that Anokhi and Aaradhya leave for home because no one was allowed to stay there.
_______________
Shaurya's voice was firm and authoritative as he gave orders to the police and his team. "Take the girl's body to the hospital for a thorough checkup. Clear the traffic and seal off the area. I want a thorough investigation into this heinous crime."
As he finished speaking, the media personnel swarmed around him, their cameras and microphones at the ready. "Mr. Raisinghania , can you comment on the situation?" "What measures will you take to ensure justice for the victim?" "How will you ensure the safety of the citizens of Mumbai?"
Shaurya's expression was grim as he faced the media frenzy. He knew that he had to be careful about what he said, but he also knew that he had to address the public's concerns.
"I understand your questions, but I request you to give us some time to investigate the matter. We will do everything in our power to bring the perpetrator to justice and ensure the safety of our citizens," he said, his voice firm but measured.
But the media personnel were relentless, surrounding him from all sides, their questions and cameras flashing in his face. Shaurya's security team tried to push them back, but they were too numerous, too aggressive.
Just when it seemed like the situation was getting out of hand, Advay, Shaurya's personal bodyguard and security head, stepped in. His tall, imposing frame and stern expression were enough to make the media personnel take a step back.
"Sir, let's go," Advay said, his voice firm, as he took Shaurya's arm and led him away from the chaos.
Shaurya nodded, grateful for Advay's intervention. Together, they made their way through the crowded streets, the media personnel following at a distance, their cameras and microphones still flashing and shouting questions.
Finally, they reached the hospital, where Shaurya was greeted by the worried faces of the doctors and nurses. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what was to come.
"Let's get to work," he said, his voice firm, as he began to coordinate with the medical team and the police to ensure that justice was served.
Hospital
There was a lot of crowd in the hospital but then Shaurya gets a call.
Shaurya's phone buzzed, and he answered it to hear the doctor's voice on the other end. "Shaurya sir , we've finished the initial investigation. Can you come to my office?"
Shaurya's heart sank, knowing that the news couldn't be good. He made his way to the doctor's office, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.
As he entered the office, the doctor's somber expression confirmed his fears. "Shaurya, the girl was an orphan. She had no family to speak of. But what I'm about to tell you is even more disturbing."
The doctor paused, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "The girl was subjected to unspeakable torture. The rapist...they didn't just rape her, Shaurya. They brutalized her. Every single detail of what happened to her is etched in my memory, and I can't shake it off."
Shaurya's eyes narrowed, his anger simmering just below the surface. "Tell me everything," he growled.
The doctor hesitated, but Shaurya's intense gaze prompted him to continue. "They beat her, Shaurya. They burned her with cigarettes. They...they violated her in every way possible. And then they left her to die on the streets."
Shaurya's face twisted in rage, his mind reeling with the horror of it all. "Once I find that bastard, I will tell them what the consequences are of doing all this to a girl. I'll make sure they suffer every single torture that girl endured."
It was night past 1 am, and he hadn't eaten since morning. He didn't even have the energy to remove his shoes, collapsing onto the couch instead.
Just as he was about to drift off to sleep, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching. His mother, Aastha , and his best friend Adhiraj, entered the room, concern etched on their faces.
"Shaurya, what happened?" Aastha asked, sitting beside him and placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.
Shaurya opened his eyes, his gaze weary. "It was a tough day, Ma. A young girl was raped and murdered. I've been working non-stop to get justice for her."
Aastha and Adhiraj exchanged a knowing glance, their expressions determined. "We're here for you, Shaurya," Aastha said. "We'll help you get justice for that girl. We won't let you fight this alone."
Shaurya's eyes welled up with tears, grateful for the support of his loved ones. "Thanks, guys. I don't know what I would do without you."
Aastha wrapped her arms around him, holding him close. "You're not alone, beta. We're all in this together. We'll get through this, and we'll make sure that girl gets the justice she deserves."
As they comforted him, Shaurya felt a sense of strength and determination wash over him. He knew that with his family and friends by his side, he could face anything that came his way. Together, they would fight for justice, and they would make sure that the perpetrator paid for their heinous crime.
On the other hand, Anokhi and Aaradhya reach home, Arth and Samridhi, Anokhi's parents also get this news and as soon as they both come inside.
