The morning had been treating them quite well. The sleep was refreshing and the night watch had been peaceful. Now they just need to travel down south to escape Duranberg. They needed three days to reach the capital from this route, which was only one day longer than the original route.
After they packed up their thing, it was time for them to move out. The group followed the road for about half a day until they encountered their first deer blocking their way. The group of knights encircled it and quickly took it down.
However, after that, they encounter two more deers blocking their way out. They did the same thing and easily got rid of the deer in the way. However, after the second time, the group started to notice a pattern.
