Looking down the snow-covered path, Theia could only walk carefully. It had been days since they departed from the village. She misses the warmth of a roof over her head.
Traveling in winter was her preferred season to travel. Especially when she had to walk on foot. Luckily, most of the time, Egul would cast his mystic power on them, making the snow feel like mild obsticle. But he couldn't maintain his power all day.
The main reason was that he ran out of things to eat. Beef jerky was not filling his belly enough. Theia suspected that Egul had some power left, but he's saving it for emergencies.
She could only sighed and tred her leg along the thickening snow. Had they found some animal, she would not have to exert this much force.
Since yesterday, Egul wasn't lucky. Even with his insane speed and exceptional hunting skills, he could not find any game.
