The bride's twisted laugh echoed through the room, a grotesque mixture of human and otherworldly tones that sent a shiver down Reeva's spine. Her eyes, void of life yet filled with an eerie awareness, locked onto him.
"I am…" The voice shifted between several tones, as though multiple beings were speaking through the bride at once. "…everything… and nothing… The beginning and the end…"
The words sent a bolt of realization through Reeva. This wasn't just the void entity anymore—it had merged with something more. Perhaps Lola's own consciousness, or maybe even the remnants of the bride's soul, were now all fighting for control inside the body.
However, what clue him in is the fact that behind him, the body of Tula flops on the floor, lifeless. Either It's his consciousness or the void being won over. Either way, it definitely got someone in there other than the demon since it celebrated.
Void beings don't have the range of emotions to express such a thing.
