Reeva could tell that something was off. The force that was pressing against him now felt more like a push and not a lock like before. Inside the invisible sphere, Reeva could only see black and white, and now the little light that the whole room gives is being blocked by some dark substance.
He didn't have a clue about what was happening but this was a chance that he had to take. The weakening power couldn't stop Reeva from advancing, like walking through mud, Reeva used all of his power to dah forward.
Lola's focus is split in half, between maintaining the barrier and the push on Reeva, but he is not blind. At this rate, he would likely fail the ritual... No, he would not live to see the end of it.
Reeva's march finally reaches Lola, the boots merchant's eyes filled with playfulness.
