### Chapter 3: The Third Blackout
Frothy was starting to feel calmer from the hypnosis sessions, but a part of him was still restless. He couldn't shake the feeling that something deeper and darker was behind his blackouts. It was during a particularly tense night that he experienced his third blackout.
Upon waking up, Frothy found himself in a familiar place: his own bathroom. The mirror light was on, and he approached it, feeling a strange attraction. When he looked at his reflection, something bizarre happened. He saw himself in the mirror, but his reflection began to speak.
"First, don't be scared, Frothy," the reflection said in a calm, comforting tone. "I'm your imaginary friend. I'm here to help you. You need to understand why."
Frothy felt a mix of fear and curiosity. He knew he was awake, but the experience felt surreal.
"I've been with you since your friend died," the reflection continued. "Your trauma brought me to you, to protect you from this cruel and horrible world. You are my property, without you I die. Because you are the special friend to me. You will never be alone again, because I am here with you."
The reflection's words began to make sense to Frothy. He had always felt a protective presence, something that kept him safe. "You may fall down the walls, you may be arrested, you may be tortured, but know that I will always be with you, Frothy," said the reflection, looking straight into his eyes. "I am here."
Frothy woke up the next morning feeling strangely calm and refreshed. The conversation with his imaginary friend brought a sense of comfort and security that he hadn't felt in a long time. He began to see recent events in a new light. The two drug dealers who had been killed? Your imaginary friend killed them to protect you.
With this new perspective, Frothy decided he no longer wanted treatment. He believed that he now had someone who had his back and that he could fully trust his imaginary friend. He canceled his sessions with Dr. Mendez and decided to face the world with renewed confidence.
