Caleb watched the woman in front of him struggle to put on her shirt. Whores, he thought, they're all the same.
He stood up and went to the back of his room and looked through the window. A crowd had gathered for the rally. He's the one that's probably delaying the rest of the family and frankly, he did not care.
The lady came towards him and attempted to kiss him, but his hard and steely look stopped her, "Oh I'm so sorry, I always forget you don't like kisses on the lips"
She moved to his cheek but he side stepped her, "Or at any place at all".
She gave him a sly smile, turned and left.
What a hoe!
His mind went back to the crowd gathering outside. He sighed and raked his hands through his hair. He doesn't want to do this, doesn't care about any of this. Most of all, he doesn't know what Mr Di Angelo is doing.
Caleb has known his father since he was born. He knows what he's capable of doing.
He knows that something is behind his father's sudden declare to run for president. What more could the president of DEANS ENTERPRISE possibly want?
Caleb has known his father for a long time and he knows that his father is very greedy. He would do anything, go to any length, just for him to have what he wishes.
Ever since he's been little, Caleb and his step brother Aaron, were taught always to put the interest of the family's enterprise first. Unlike Aaron, he wasn't interested in this whole family business shit.
Even though they were family, they were very different. They share the same father, but while Caleb's mother was Anthony Di Angelo's wife, Aaron's mother was a whore who later died of cancer. Aaron was white, but Caleb has inherited his mother's brown skin. They were both brilliant, something they inherited from their father, but they hated each other. It was always a series of competition between them even though there was only a year difference between their births.
The only thing that they did not argue on was the issue of the inheritance of the company. Caleb liked to be in charge, but not just in the case if the DEANS enterprise. While Aaron spent his life trying to fit in, to not just be the illegitimate heir in the family, Caleb was more focused on having fun.
Aaron actually wanted to be the heir, the main heir who will inherit all of the DEANS enterprise. But luck apparently was not in his favor. His father had announced Caleb to be the new CEO two years back.
Ever since, Aaron refused to have any means of communication with the family until he was sent to live with his Aunt in LA, even though the announcement was not effected until now.
Since his father wants to become president, the role of CEO of DEANS enterprise will be shifted to Caleb.
Just then, Tamar entered the room with a big frown on her face.
"Why aren't you dressed? You know dad is going to be very angry at you."
Caleb did not say anything.
When he did not respond, Tamar shook her head and flopped herself down on the sofa.
She reached out to the box of gummy bears beside sofa took one and started chewing loudly.
"I know you're trying to get my attention" Caleb made a face at her, "You're a lady for christ sake".
"And you are supposed to be dressed"
She swallowed the chewed up gummy bear and stood up to meet him, " I am your sister and I will always tell you the truth. If you do not get dressed right this minute, mom is gonna barrel through that door and trust me you will not like it".
