Chapter 191 - The War: Seers Hiding Spot II

The warehouse throbbed with the pulse of the battle, a symphony of clashing powers and defiant cries. Elang's flames roared like a hungry beast, licking at the Seers' defenses, forcing them to retreat. IM's intangible form flickered through the chaos, his strikes landing with surprising force, disorienting and disarming his opponents. Lili, a silent wraith in the shadows, sabotaged the Seers' equipment, her unseen hands disrupting their attacks and leaving them vulnerable.

Yolan, clad in her shimmering armor, stood at the forefront of the assault, her sword a beacon of defiance against the encroaching darkness. She met each Seer's attack with unwavering resolve, her blade deflecting energy blasts and cleaving through spectral forms with deadly precision.

The Seers, though outnumbered, fought back with desperate fury. Their Guardians unleashed a torrent of attacks, beams of energy, swirling vortexes of darkness, and razor-sharp projectiles filling the air.

But there was one Seer who remained completely untouched.

Swooosh! Elang's fire intensified, turning a menacing purple as he lunged towards a young woman.

"Boss Mira!" Elang yelled, his voice filled with rage.

Boss Mira, the woman he targeted, effortlessly dodged Elang's attacks, her movements fluid and precise, as if she knew his every move before he made it. "You know why we're called Seers and Unveiled?" she asked, her voice calm amidst the chaos. "Because we can see the future. But everyone misunderstands it."

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Boss Mira continued to dodge the fire effortlessly, her movements graceful and fluid. "The fire power you possess is just a manifestation of how you see your future," she explained, her voice calm and clear amidst the chaos. "It's not meant for fighting, but for guidance. However, due to misunderstanding, it's been used as a weapon."

Lili, cloaked in her invisibility, continued her silent work, deftly removing weapons from the Seers' grasp. They were aware of her presence, their frantic movements and wild swings a testament to their growing frustration. But Lili was a phantom, her touch intangible, her movements impossible to predict.

"Murk... take them down," Libido's voice cut through the chaos, his arrival announced by the creaking of the warehouse door.

All eyes turned towards the entrance, where the albino boy stood, his expression cold and calculating. The Seers, seeing their reinforcement, let out a collective cheer, their hopes reignited.

Murk, Libido's Harbinger, lunged forward, his chains whipping through the air with deadly intent. He spotted IM, who was in the midst of subduing a Seer, and targeted him.

Swoosh! Murk threw his chain, its sharp edge aimed at IM's back.

But IM was ready. He activated his "no clip" ability, his body becoming completely solid and impenetrable.

The chain, instead of passing through IM, collided with his solid form, the impact sending sparks flying and a metallic clang echoing through the warehouse. IM spun around, his eyes narrowed in determination. He grabbed the chain, his grip firm and unyielding, and yanked Murk towards him.

With a powerful kick, IM sent Murk crashing into a stack of crates, the wood splintering under the force of the impact. Murk roared in anger, his chains lashing out wildly, but IM effortlessly dodged each attack, his movements a blur of speed and precision.

The other Seers, witnessing their Guardian's struggle, redoubled their efforts. Energy blasts and spectral attacks rained down upon the Unveiled Family, but they held their ground, their combined powers a formidable defense. Yolan's armor deflected the projectiles, Lili's invisibility allowed her to continue her sabotage, and Elang's flames created a protective barrier around them.

Libido stood outside the warehouse, observing the chaotic scene within. "We should change our hiding place again..." he murmured, a hint of frustration in his voice. The Unveiled Family had proven to be more resilient than he anticipated, their coordinated attacks disrupting his plans.

"Boss Mira!" he called out, his voice cutting through the din of the battle.

Boss Mira, however, was too far away to hear him. She was still engaged in a tense confrontation with Elang, dodging his fiery attacks while trying to reason with him. "That's how you can use your power," she explained, her voice calm amidst the chaos. "To see glimpses of the future, to anticipate your enemies' moves."

"Raaah!" Elang roared, unwilling to listen to her explanations. His flames intensified, his attacks becoming more ferocious, driven by a blind rage that threatened to consume him.

Ngiik!

A low, grinding sound filled the air, followed by a sudden tremor that shook the entire warehouse. The floor beneath their feet tilted, and the Seers and the Unveiled Family alike stumbled, struggling to maintain their balance.

Whoosh!

The entire warehouse lurched upwards, its foundations ripped from the earth as if lifted by an unseen force. It soared into the night sky, its silhouette a dark, ominous blot against the backdrop of stars.

Everyone inside was shocked, both the Seers and the Unveiled Family. They looked up in awe and fear as they realized they were being abducted, their battleground now a flying fortress.

"That was me," I said calmly, my voice echoing through the open roof of the warehouse. I floated above them, my cape billowing in the wind, my eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light.

"Xian!" Lili's voice, though invisible, was filled with relief and joy.

Swoosh!

"Got you!" One of the Seers lunged at Lili, his hand outstretched, attempting to grab her invisible form.

But Lili, her senses heightened, effortlessly dodged the attack. She materialized behind the Seer, snatching his weapon and delivering a swift bonk to his head.

I stood on the ground amidst the chaos, the people around me scattering in fear as they recognized me, the Imaginary. Their faces were etched with a mix of awe and terror, their eyes wide as they witnessed my sudden appearance.

"You again," Libido said, his voice a chilling whisper as he walked towards me. His pale eyes locked onto mine, a challenge in their depths.

I turned to face him, my expression calm but alert. "Hey," I replied, my voice steady. The air crackled with tension, the anticipation of a confrontation hanging heavy between us.

"Ice..." Libido whispered, his voice laced with a chilling intent.

Swoosh! A razor-sharp ice spike erupted from the ground beneath me, its trajectory aimed directly at my heart.

The ice is faster than before... it caught my foot easily! I thought, a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins.

I was made in hellfire. No ice can harm me, I imagined with fierce determination, visualizing my body becoming impervious to the cold.

The ice spike, mere inches from piercing my chest, suddenly halted, its sharp tip melting upon contact with my skin. A wave of heat radiated from my body, the surrounding air shimmering with an intense warmth. The ice spike, now a harmless puddle of water, dripped onto the ground, its threat neutralized.

Libido's eyes widened in disbelief. "What...?" he stammered, his voice filled with a mixture of shock and frustration. His carefully crafted attack, meant to incapacitate me, had been effortlessly countered by my newfound resistance.

I smirked, my confidence unwavering. "You're going to have to try harder than that, Libido," I taunted, my voice echoing through the deserted streets. "Your ice has no power over me."

Swooosh!

"Boss Mira!" Elang yelled from the warehouse, his voice a mix of urgency and desperation.

I turned around just in time to see a hand, soft yet surprisingly strong, inches from my face.

Thud! The hand connected with my forehead, pushing me back with unexpected force. My vision blurred, and I stumbled, momentarily disoriented by the sudden attack.

Boss Mira backed away, her hand instinctively recoiling from my touch.

That guy... his face was so hot... it felt like my hand would melt if I kept touching him... she thought, a mixture of surprise and apprehension swirling within her.

I held my nose, wincing slightly as I regenerated the minor damage caused by her touch. I looked at her, my curiosity piqued. "Hmm... what are you? Why wasn't my sense alert to you?"

"It's called anti-power," she explained, her voice calm and collected. "I can control my power and make myself undetectable as an enemy."
