Chapter 1 - Deep deathes. only chapter

In a small, remote village nestled deep within a dense forest, there existed a legend whispered among its inhabitants. They spoke of a cursed mask hidden in an ancient shrine, said to grant its wearer unimaginable power at a grave cost.

One moonless night, a curious young villager named Hana ventured into the forest, drawn by tales of the mask's mystical abilities. Guided only by flickering torchlight, she stumbled upon the decrepit shrine, its walls adorned with faded warnings etched by those who had dared to explore before her.

Ignoring the ominous aura that enveloped the shrine, Hana approached the altar where the mask lay shrouded in shadows. With trembling hands, she lifted the mask and gazed upon its eerie visage—a grotesque fusion of human and demonic features.

As she donned the mask, an unsettling sensation crept over her, as if unseen eyes scrutinized her every move. Suddenly, a chilling wind swept through the shrine, extinguishing her torch and plunging her into darkness.

In the silence, whispers echoed from the mask, promising power beyond imagination in exchange for her soul. Fear coursed through Hana's veins, but the lure of strength and prestige beckoned irresistibly.

Days passed, and the village noticed changes in Hana. Her once warm demeanor turned cold and distant, her eyes reflecting an unsettling emptiness. Rumors spread of strange occurrences: livestock found mutilated, crops withering overnight, and villagers falling ill without explanation.

Terrified, the villagers confronted Hana, demanding answers. But she stood before them, the cursed mask fused permanently to her face, its malevolent influence twisting her mind beyond recognition.

As madness consumed her, Hana unleashed powers that defied natural law, wreaking havoc upon the village. In the end, consumed by guilt and horror at what she had become, Hana retreated into the forest, her anguished cries fading into the night.
