Funny how I was completely aware of everything that was going on around me, but unable to wake from this sleep like state.
I recalled passing out in the car when Dane had taken control of Eren and bit me. That had been so shocking, but not just that, it had been painful. Extremely painful.
I knew that he was marking me, but I hadn't even thought that he was up to doing something like that.
Eren had clearly not been in his right mind. It was obvious from the way he had acted when he had woken up in the car and the things that he said. But still, I had to give it to Dane, he had guts to do that in the car with not only Micah present, but my brother as well.
Waking up had taken some time. I knew that we were no longer in the car when I first recognized the sounds and smells around me, but I had been unable to force my eyes open or even move my body.
