The evening sun cast a calming shadow over the breezy atmosphere. The perfect background for the colorful flowers of all kinds arranged in various corners of the Grentford University garden.
To the left of the small space, on one of the concrete chairs, sat Lily. Quietly and by herself, she watched the sun go down with earphones plugged in.
A few people sat on other chairs around her but she had music playing so loud, she imagined she was the only one there. The only one in the whole world.
After announcing her decision to get some sleep after the trip, she made her way into the bedroom. She didn't bother taking off her jeans and top. She crawled onto the soft padding, plugged her earphones in once again, laid on her side with her hands under her ear then closed her eyes.
