Lily shared confused glances with Neo and Jasmine. She couldn't read Asher's expression to determine if he was mad at her, she had done something wrong or she was in some kind of trouble. Although a little anxious, she was curious to find out. There wasn't much deliberation before she decided she was going to stay.
"I'll see you guys later."
She whispered, slipping her arm out of Neo's and waving at Jasmine. They both waved back before walking past Asher who had moved aside for them. Quietly, almost awkwardly, they did. Lily kept her eyes on Asher, waiting for him to turn. She was getting more anxious to find out what she had done.
After a long minute of silence, he walked into the mansion. He slowly shut the door behind him. When he turned, he locked eyes with Lily. She looked a little worried, holding her hands in front of her like she was about to be convicted of wrongdoing.
"Congratulations on taking first place, Lily."
