"So your boyfriend huhn?"
Asher asked when his attention rested on the man his sister had just introduced. He scanned every muscle in Peter's face. He couldn't help it. He glanced over his light brown hair, his small round glasses, his grey colored long sleeved T-shirt buttoned up to the very last one. He didn't do much for accessories, a silver watch sitting on his right wrist.
Asher loved how Peter didn't pour so much attention into his appearance. He believed a classy man didn't need to put so many things on his body. Asher believed a man was judged by his poise and as far as that went, Peter seemed to get Asher's attention, but he wasn't going to show his approval so early.
When his eyes were satisfied, Asher cleared his throat, taking a sip of his wine. "How long have you been together?"
"Well it's kind of a long story, we…"
"Let the man talk Esme," Asher cut her off abruptly, ignoring her gaping stare.
