Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

Without the Flying Thunder God technique, Namikaze Minato is just an ordinary genius compared to Uchiha Mikoto with her Sharingan, especially since he is several years younger.

It's normal for him to lose, especially since he didn't use the Rasengan. Initially, Haruki planned to take him to the battlefield only after he mastered the Flying Thunder God technique.

But things changed unexpectedly.

---

The next day, he received news from the Anbu that Konoha's White Fang, Hatake Sakumo, was injured.

"You mean during our battle with the Hidden Sand Village, two jonin from the Hidden Cloud Village appeared out of nowhere, possessing extraordinary speed and powerful attacks, injuring Hatake Sakumo and forcing him to retreat?"

Haruki's first reaction after reading the report was skepticism.

How did the Hidden Cloud Village know Hatake Sakumo's whereabouts?

Moreover, this incident wasn't mentioned in the original work.

So... could it be his butterfly effect?

Haruki pondered for a moment.

When Hiruzen Sarutobi appointed Hatake Sakumo as commander, and Danzo didn't object, he had a feeling something was off.

But at that time, Jiraiya was not around, Tsunade refused due to her responsibilities with the medical unit, and Orochimaru didn't go.

Considering everything, it seemed Hatake Sakumo had the highest strength and reputation.

However, a commander needs wisdom, and Hiruzen's appointment wasn't the only choice.

"Has the Anbu identified the two jonin from the Hidden Cloud Village?"

"These two are burly, with lightning coursing between their movements. It's likely they use the Lightning Release Chakra Mode. The Anbu suspects they are the next-generation A and Bee from the Hidden Cloud Village."

"If it's them, it makes sense."

Haruki thought of their performance in the original work. Although they were younger versions, it's plausible they could injure Hatake Sakumo with a sneak attack.

Speed is unbeatable.

This principle still applies in the Naruto world.

Namikaze Minato was dubbed the Yellow Flash during the Third Great Ninja War because of his unparalleled speed.

If they could defeat him, they couldn't catch him; if they couldn't defeat him, they couldn't escape.

But Hatake Sakumo can't die.

If not for Namikaze Minato's unexpected rise during the Third Great Ninja War, Konoha would have been defeated.

The primary reason was the lack of high-level combat power.

Apart from Namikaze Minato, Konoha had no other standout strong fighters.

"I understand. I'll head to the battlefield as soon as possible."

Haruki stood up. After the Anbu left, he called for Minato and the others, but he first went to the Ninja Academy.

---

Tsunade's Office.

He quietly appeared behind Tsunade.

"Guess who?"

Haruki covered her eyes, smiling.

"Who else would play such a childish game?"

Tsunade scoffed, "Next time, try changing your voice."

"Wronged."

Haruki let go, placing his hands on her shoulders, noticing the book on her desk.

He was surprised. "You're reading the history I compiled? When did you get interested in these?"

Tsunade squinted her eyes. "Just bored."

"Really just bored?" Haruki turned her chair to face her. "Lying isn't nice."

"You're so annoying!" Tsunade glared at him. "I thought of you, so I wanted to read it. Satisfied?"

Haruki grinned.

In a way, such straightforward words are more heartwarming.

Tsunade raised an eyebrow at his annoying smile. Thinking about it, she flicked his forehead hard.

Haruki immediately wore a pained expression.

"When will you get rid of this bad habit?"

"Why should I?" Tsunade crossed her arms, looking at him.

The sudden bounce made Haruki's eyelids twitch.

Deep Ravine.

He kept a straight face, sneaking a glance.

"I feel if this continues, my forehead will get bigger, affecting my handsomeness."

Tsunade's eye twitched.

What a ridiculous and strange reason.

Suppressing the urge to flick him again, she asked, "What's the matter?"

"Of course, I missed you."

Haruki leaned in, trying to bury his face in her chest.

But Tsunade pressed a finger to his forehead, preventing it.

Haruki showed an innocent look. "Is it wrong to miss you?"

"Don't think I don't know what you're up to."

Tsunade rolled her eyes. "This is an office. Behave."

"Isn't the office more exciting?"

Haruki blurted out but quickly retreated upon seeing her darkening face. "Just kidding."

Tsunade sat down, crossing her right leg over her left, her skirt falling, exposing her long legs.

She looked professional and imposing.

"What's your real reason?"

"Just going to the battlefield. Taking three students along to let them see the world."

"I'll go with you." Tsunade didn't hesitate.

"What for?"

Haruki stepped forward, pinching her cheek.

"It's just a thousand-man battlefield. No need for a legendary Sannin. Besides, I'm a medical ninja. Unless everyone in Konoha dies, it's not my turn."

Tsunade's face remained serious.

She stood up, hugging him tightly.

Feeling her curves, Haruki had no impure thoughts.

"Don't worry. I'm a master at survival."

"You make it sound terrible."

Tsunade laughed, looking up at him. "Remember your words. Otherwise..."

Haruki silenced her with a kiss.

After a long time, he pulled back.

He caressed her chin, smiling. "Don't raise flags before a battle."

Tsunade caught her breath, her cheeks flushed. "What does that mean?"

"Many people love to talk big before a fight."

Haruki made it up, "Those who do usually lose."

"I wasn't talking big!" Tsunade was dissatisfied.

"Here's a secret: sweet talk increases the odds of winning. Want to try?"

"You think I'm a fool?" Tsunade flicked his forehead again.

"Ouch!"

Haruki took a deep breath and made a small contribution to global warming.

One day, he would avenge his forehead.

With the other head!

"When are you leaving?"

"In a bit. Many are injured, and they need me."

Haruki played with her hair behind her ear, his voice gentle.

"So soon?" Tsunade thought it would be tomorrow.

"Yes. Being a ninja, it's hard to delay missions."

Haruki smiled, staring at her before turning to leave.

"Wait."

Tsunade called out.

"What is it?"

Haruki turned back. "Anything else? But remember, fewer flags."

Tsunade hesitated, then ran to him, stood on her toes, and whispered, "I like you. Come back safely."

Huh?

Haruki was stunned.

Did she believe his nonsense?

Does she think sweet talk really works?

But your sweet talk lacks finesse.
