Chapter 72 - Lady Bellatrix Lastride

Dago was helping up Ava from the ground as woman came up from the water grasping for air. She stood up on the waters naked but for a magical mist that had appeared suddenly covering her breasts and her waistline.

The lady of mist started walking toward them swaying her hips. The sun and water on her bare skin almost gave a glow around her body that made her seem like she was beautiful illusion.

"Holy Shit!" Dago said softly as he stared at the girl.

James nodded his head in agreement.

Ava looked at him. "Dago is that the girl you were-"

"No. No. Hell no. I was thinking about. Holy shit! Mate did you-" Dago began but stopped as the girl neared.

James shook his head. "I didn't nothing bro."

She came to stand staring down from her 6'2 height at them with short scarlet red hair and tattoos of swords on her forearms. Her honey hazel nut eyes gave off a hypnotic seductive glow seemed to glimmer as she stared at them. She looked down at herself noticing the mist that seemed cover her slightly. She nodded her thanks to James.

"Thanks. Your James Potter right." The girl said.

James nodded. "Yes I am. Welcome to Hawks Landing. This is my mother Ava Nightingale and my best friend Dago Malfoy. What's your name?"

"Malfoy?" She said in surprise gazing at Dago intently. "Are you related to Scorpious Malfoy?"

Dago nodded and smiled at her. "Yeah. He's my grandfather. I'm pretty famous. What's your name?"

She smiled and turned first to James. "I am Lady Bellatrix Lastride. You may call me Bellatrix. I am pleased to meet you." She said and turned and shaking his hand Ava's and then Dago's. "Hello." She said in soft voice.

Dago stared at her. "Hello. It's nice to you. Ah Are you model?"

Bellatrix smiled. "Yes. I am. Well I'm retired now. Thank you."

"Oh. Yeah. You'll do just fine as my girlfriend." Dago said nodding his head and smiled at her.

Bellatrix's flushed quickly took hand back from his grasp. She turned from him but lifted her hand to brush her hair away from ear and looked at James. "Yeah. Ah. Do you have any clothes you can-"

James looked at Dago. "Give her some clothes bro."

Dago frowned at him but James raised his eyes looking down at the sand. Dago nodded his head and then bent down.

Bellatrix jumped back away from Dago. He frowned at her as he picked up sand from the ground and held out hand.

The sand flew out his palm toward her and covered her body in short storm of sand and then when the sand fell away Bellatrix was dressed in a top covering her small firm breasts and a skirt of sandy gold colors.

James nodded. "Nice work bro." He said and he gave Bellatrix a wink. "Dago has a talent for those kind of things. So what brings a model down from heaven to us?"

Bellatrix's mouth started to open and close. James held up a finger. "Talk with my friend for a bit. I got to check about something." He said and gentle turned her toward Dago with his staff before he turned to walk toward the lake.

James bent down to look at the water. It was still glimmering with a strange glow and presence of power. The image of the lady though was gone. He suddenly straightened up and took hold of Mara in his arms.

Mara nearly jumped out his arms but he held fast to her. She blushed as stared at him. "I was getting worried."

James nodded. "I could tell. I want you to meet someone." He said and turned Mara toward where Bellatrix was quickly quickly walking toward them faces was flushed and she kept looking toward Dago as he followed behind her grinning.

"She's very beautiful." Mara commented in a funny voice. "What do you think of her?"

James nodded. "She's a model. So yeah. She is extremely beautiful. She's Dago." He told her quietly.

Mara stared at him open mouthed. "James?"

James stared at her. "You heard me Mrs. Potter. So don't go messing this up for my bro's game. I can see you planning something weird."

Mara laughed in his face hugging his waist while the others walked over to them. James nodded to her. "Bellatrix. This is my wife Mara Potter. Mara this is Lady Bellatrix Lastride."

Mara smiled at Bellatrix holding out her hand. "Hello, Bellatrix. What brings you to Hawks Landing?"

"I-ah. I didn't come here by choice. I got a vision. Then I had to leave quickly out the window before they caught me." She said stared at James intently but when Dago drew closer she jumped a bit.

James nodded. "Your a back sight. Someone was chasing you? Why did you come here of all places."

Bellatrix pursed her lips. "I've seen visions of this places. Visions of you and the Dragon of the West fighting and creating this grand place. I wanted to come her badly." She said. Her eyes were animated as her voice vibrated with youthful energy.

Though every time Dago moved cleared his throat she would move away focus on him. James stared at her glowing eyes. Her breath caught and she was fidgety.

James nodded his head. "What are you?"

"Excuse me." She a hitch her voice.

James held up a hand. "Please relax. Dago is a gentleman. You have to be nervous around him. We just need to know for honesty. Are you half-human?" He asked.

Bellatrix pursed her lips tightly but she nodded. "Yes. I won't be any danger to you. I was born with my condition. I mean no offence toward your friend. He's not my type."

James watched her take a inward breath from her nose her eyes brightened up. He smiled. "You seem to going through a bit of difficulty."

Bellatrix shook her head. "I'm fine. Fine. Please. I would love to work with and your father to help you suceed in your vision for the future of the magi and magical kind at large."

James nodded glancing at Dago. Who looked uneasy. "Would you prefer staying in the forest or-"

"-the forest." Bellatrix said immediately. "I like to camp and ah be in the open. I can help you in your vision for the future and to build up your ah vision here."

"Do you like to run when your feeling stressed?" James asked.

"Yes. I do very much so. I am aware of some basic elements of your domain. I can advance the scope of your forest and help there."

"Sure. Tell you what. Why you have bit of time by yourself. My family I and are going to have a bit of talk about somethings. Please have a long run and fun." James said nodding to Ava, Dago and Mara and they disappeared.

James and Mara appeared in the tower. He quickly held out his hand and several books flew into his grasp Mara ran for the side bookshelves as Angus appeared in the room along with the others.

Dago was frowning at James. Until he saw a look on his face. "What is it?!"

James pursed his lips. Dago shook his head. "No. Give it to me straight mate."

James sighed setting his books down and looked tense. "Ah. Yeah. Do you like her?"

Dago stared at him and nodded his head slowly. "Yeah. I do she's gorgeous I don't think she likes me much."

James shook his head. "I disagree. I think she likes you a lot."

Dago sighed. "So are you saying that's a bad thing or she's some type of-"

"I think it's a bad thing. The only thing you might want to be careful of is being alone with her."

Dago snorted. "I'm not going to jump her. I'm not a-"

"-She might you jump several times until she gets pregnant and then afterwards." James said seriously.

Dago stared at him. "Okay. I don't see a bad part here James. What am I missing?"

"We don't know what she is." Ava said. "She was holding herself back but she had a tense focus on you Dago. We have to figure out what she is and how dangerous she might be to you." She said.

Dago pursed his lips tightly shaking his head. "I like her though."

James nodded. "I know. I'm not saying don't pursue her I'm saying she wants you badly and she's kind of a liar."

Dago frowned flinching back. "What? What did she lie about?"

Mara came back with James' notebooks. James took the notebooks opening them up and started leafing through the books.

"One, if she's been watching us for a long time then she knows about you. Two, she lied about being attracted to you. She was barely holding herself together not jumping on you bro." James said looking through his books.

"Wait." Ava held up a hand. "If she's a liar and you don't trust her then tell her to leave. Get her out of here. There is no need to have her here."

James shook his head looking through his books. "If you want her to leave then tell her to leave. In the mean time I have to figure out what the hell she is?"

"James! It doesn't matter what she is. You don't have to get caught up in what she is." Ava said.

Angus held up a hand. "Hold up! James why do you want to find out what she is? Why is it important to you?"

James sighed. "Because. She is a were-human that is capable of teleportation and she is a strong to the mist magic user and she says and I believe her when she said that was born the way she is. I have never heard of a wizard or were-creature like her ever. I don't think she entirely realises what she so I find it important to figure that out now rather then later when or if she may become a problem."

Angus sighed. "Yeah. I think we should all help up with the research."

James smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Because whoever did is either dangerously stupid or has created a situation that is going to be controllable for Nick and the Owls to deal with in the near future."

Ava shook her head. "Whose her father? That's the real question. You could question her-"

"No. That won't work. She has strong mental wall around her mind." James said quickly.

"She's connected to Dago though." Ava pointed out. "He could make an attempt to..to ask her sweetly."

"Not Bloody likely, I will!" Dago said gruffly. "I'm not going nowhere near her if she's an enemy to us or some tool sent to-"

"Dago. You could the information out of her easily." James pointedly. "That's not problem. Whoever sent her wasn't counting on her being being drawn to you like she is. The problem simply is we do not know what she is so we need to figure that out before you go anywhere near her for extended amounts of time." James said pointedly.

Dago sighed. "So we need to do some research."
