Moros wanted to hug his brother, he was finally seeing his brother again─now he could finally repay him all the damn money he owed. Once he was in a brotherly embrace, Dion could only be free after he paid.
Sadly, Moros' greed for money was not an even match for Dion's desire to get interviewed by the famous New Elysium Times.
And so his hug attack was quickly dodged with a sidestep.
The love and money-seeking brother was met with 2 small pillars that shot up from the ground with fast speed, throwing Moros body a few metres into the air.
In the air the very confused Moros was hit by several titled slabs that came hurled his way, bouncing him from the left to the right, in an almost hypnotic fashion.
As the grand finale, 2 more pillars shot up, hitting Moros in such a manner that he did 3 backflips in the air, before landing softly on a rock chair that was made just for him.
Dion stomped once again to set up a table and another chair for himself, where he promptly sat down, giving his hand to the very confused and stupefied brother, who had just done a whole circus act, in order to greet him.
"I have to say brother, you have become awfully sturdy. Did not know that killing so many Ballas has such an effect on the skin…"
Dion tried to make a compliment and failed spectacularly at that. Moros did not desire compliments or awful small talk, he wanted his money─the money that
Dion had earned with all the creatively legal business stuff Moros had done while his parents were not looking.
"It is nice to see you too Brother. Now where is my cash?"
Moros, master of small talk, elegantly approached the main topic of this entire conversation, at least to him.
"Ah, you mean your 'secret' stash? As far as I know a certain female friend of yours, kept it safe and secure. At least, that is what she told me after you had been missing from school for the last few days…"
Dark clouds appeared in front of Moros' face. If said person was the only person he could think of in this situation then he would never see that money again. Worst of all, all that savings would have already been spent.
Moros was now officially broke again with nothing to his name, other than his will to live and an enormous pile of debt.
"Was she like this tall?" Moros held his hand up to his chest…" and dressed like she stopped dressing half-way through? Blond hair, twin-tails, a beauty that looks like she can't decide if she wants to disappoint her parents or be kicked from school?"
"Do you mean, the lady with a provocative dressing style that seemed a bit unfitting for the general cold of Elysium…?"
Dion gave Moros a questioning gaze, they seemed to be talking about the same person, so why is it that his brother looked like he would have preferred to just die on the spot?
"Yeah, I think Malissa was her name, a truly sweet girl. She seemed hellbent on finding you, after you have been gone for such a long time…"
Moros looked at his brother and there was only one thought stuck in his mind: "What have I done to you, for you to curse me like that, brother?"
Did Dion not know what kind of hell he had unleashed on his poor soul. Everything had been beyond his control, but this beast in the form of a woman would not care about his circumstances.
Once she came close to him he would be dead, d e a d, by all definition, royally screwed and totally fucked. He would be so dead that he would not even recognize his own face anymore.
His nutsack would be stretched so far, it would become his new face.
With a shaking voice Moros needed to find out just how much time he had left to flee.
"Dion, please tell me you did not tell her about my location? Please, tell me you did not inform her about where I am, right?"
Dion laughed heartily a knowing smile formed on his face.
"Don't you worry Moros, you are looking splendid, how could she resist someone as good looking as you. I have informed her the minute I came to this place, so she should be here…any time now."
Moros looked at his brother, who could not seem to grasp the mortal danger his entire lower half was in. This was no laughing matter, he was about to lose everything he had on him…
Malissa would not come here to hug him and cry a few tears of joy.
Moros had to run away, flee as far as his legs could and would carry him. But, he could not stay here anymore. Any second he wasted here was another second sooner his balls would be violently deflated by the blond queen of testicular torsion.
Moros sprung up, ready to shake hands with Dion. This would be the last time they would see each other in a long time, but the circumstances were dire, so he could not afford any long speech.
A simple hug and handshake had to suffice, anything more than that was just tempting fate. Too much was on the line for any such risks.
But, it was too late from behind him a voice resounded, it was a clear voice, yet it sounded deeper than the darkest pits of hell. Usually, it was a rather soft, charmful tone, this time it caused Moros' hands to stand up…this was Malissa─she did not sound very friendly.
Moros gulped, he did not dare to turn around to face the monster that was about to ruin him. No, mustering all his courage, he put all his strength into his legs and dashed away as far as he could.
That was the plan, at least.
He was stopped by his brother giving him a deep hug.
Moros, however, did want any obstacle in his way. As his brother was enjoying some long, lost brotherly love, Moros was begging inside his mind to please let him go, else he would have a sister soon…or an eunuch─depending if she showed mercy.
"Moros Terra, my F.R.I.E.N.D, it is soooooooooooooooooooooo nice to see you again, we have a lot to catch up to, do WE NOT?"
Moros nutsack retracted into its shell, crawling backwards like a snail upon touch. Whatever he did, he should never turn around and acknowledge the proposal by the personified violence on two legs.
His brother, not getting the memo, continued to hold Moros in his embrace, whispering to him many things that Moros did not hear anymore.
Moros' mind raced in search of possibilities of how to escape this nightmare. Yet, his brain could not find any solution that would guarantee the safety of the round thingies in his pants that would soon be pretty flat.
"Oh my interview is coming up, I will leave you 2 guys alone."
He turned around, waved at Malissa, who returned a sweet smile to the younger brother of the Terra family.
Dion on the other hand, turned to face Moros again, giving him a knowing wink.
"Go get her, my man. Make her scream your name…"
Moros gulped, looking at his brother with pleading eyes.
"Please, do not leave me alone with her, please take me with you. I will do anything, just don't leave me here."
Yet, the silent prayer of Moros was left unheard, as his brother jumped through another portal back to the planet of Elysium where the interview was held.
"So, Moros now while we are alone. Would you kindly tell me, why as I was worried sick, searching all over the planet of Elysium for your sorry ass. Searching the biggest of towns, to the smallest villages…"
Moros kept his mouth shut, anything he did or say now would be used against him in the court of law.
"…why is that in the first village I encounter a bunch of naked mothers that swoon upon seeing your face. CARE TO EXPLAIN THAT?"
Moros feigned ignorance and just did not turn around. Maybe if he played dumb enough, the problem would just evaporate into thin air.
He certainly was not dumb enough to try and explain why exactly he needed sweaty naked woman. Using their pheromones for catching goblins would be the most stupid explanation he could ever give.
Even if it was the truth, this truth would get his nuts cracked.
He would be very stupid to just tell the truth outright and hope for her forgiveness. No, his survival instinct was way too strong to make that beginner mistake.
He was not a rookie anymore in regard to dealing with Malissa Maven, the best defence was simply acting like this was all some sort of weird thing.
"I have never been in that village Malissa, you have to believe me."
As it turned out, Moros was a horrible liar. He could not have been any more suspicious even if he actively tried to be.
The only word she said to him, after hearing his reasoning was…
"NICE…"
And Moros realised he would not live to see another day.
