Chapter 53 - Dr. Kim (Part 2)

Normally, the work at the Sentinel Healing Center was quite relaxed.

Level B and Level C Healers only needed to handle one to two Sentinels appointments per day.

Level A Healers didn't have specific restrictions; they could skip appointments for the whole day if they wanted.

However, most Level A Healers had their regular Sentinel patients and already scheduled their treatment sessions in advance.

The locations for conducting the Sentinel mental power therapy sessions were also different.

They weren't held in public areas like the lobby but rather in Healers's lounges or treatment rooms.

However, Healers below Level A didn't have their own exclusive lounges; they shared a treatment room with several other healers.

Just as Lee Anna was introducing the various aspects of the Sentinel Healing Center to Chun Ho-Jin, a female Guide happened to walk by in front of him.

Judging from her badge, she was probably a Level A Healer too.

However, for some reason, as she brushed past Lee Anna and Chun Ho-Jin, she seemed to recognize Chun Ho-Jin.

Her gaze lingered on his face for a couple of seconds, and then she said in a somewhat mocking tone, "Just a lowly Level C Guide," while showing a disdainful expression.

When he heard this, Chun Ho-Jin hadn't quite reached yet, or rather, he hadn't figured out what exactly was going on, when Lee Anna beside him shouted back at her angrily.

"Watch your mouth, Dr. Kim! No one forced you to skip the appointment and not show up at the scene that day! You're just a mere Level A Healer, our healing center doesn't lack for your presence alone. So, watch your mouth, or do you want to gamble and see whether our president values you, a newly hired Healer who missed an appointment, more than me, a Level A Healer who brings a stable client base and an excellent team to him?!"

It's obvious, Lee Anna's words hit a nerve.

Immediately, the other person's expression became even uglier.

She wanted to retort, but she didn't dare.

After all, Lee Anna's prestige in the Sentinel Healing Center was undeniable.

She has a good relationship with other Level A Healers, offending her was almost equivalent to offending the entire Level A Healers of the healing center.

By then, there would be no good outcome.

Dr. Kim wasn't foolish enough to go to such lengths, so she hypocritically exchanged a few pleasantries with her and ran away immediately.

Once the other person had walked away, Chun Ho-Jin finally realized who this Dr. Kim was and he subconsciously asked, "Dr. Kim? Is she the 'Dr. Kim' who missed the appointment five days ago and made me mistakenly identified as a Level A Guide?"

"Yes, that's her. She arrived leisurely shortly after you left, with quite an arrogant attitude. However, the healing center was indeed short-staffed at the time and had spent a lot of money to bring her in voluntarily. There wasn't much to say, so we just deducted some of her wages and let her start work. Fortunately, her restroom was far away from ours, or I would've had a stroke."
