Ridget/Tigress' POV:
"How can I remove this scent from me?" I asked Lani as we're walking down the hall. Everyone's been eyeing us. I mean me, ever since I got out of my room this morning.
I freakin' hate this kind of attention. Goodness!
"You can't hon. You're bonded to him." Lani said nonchalantly. He opened the door of the cafeteria and walked in. I followed him up at the second floor. Here I can see everything from below. And as usual, it's still like a jungle. But this is a much better seat than down there.
"Oh, Master. Don't be so sad." Green comforted me. I smiled at her.
"You don't have to call me master all the time, Reen. You can call me Tig. (tayg)" I said. She smiled and nodded, liking the idea.
"Hey, how come you can take your mask off and eat without me seeing your whole face?" Lani asked curiously and tried to peek on my face. I let out a small laugh.
"Because I'm wearing a cap, stupid. And my hair is long enough to cover my whole face." I answered.
"Hey, Lan—Oh wait, I remember you." Someone approached us and pointed at me.
"Tigress, this is Luan. He's a ghost-glitch. And this is Messi, a ghost-shifter. And finally, Dellin. A glitch-vampire. They're all hybrids. Don't worry. They're my friends." Lani introduced them one by one. I covered my mouth with my mask before looking up at them and gave them a small nod.
"Tigress." I said and extended my hand for a handshake. But the two hugged me instead. The other one accepted my hand and shook it.
"What you did yesterday was so cool." Messi whispered. "No one form the HYB dorm who's not a shifter fought with a vampire before." She added.
"I was eating my food. Masamang magsayang nang pagkain." Maikling paliwanag ko na para bang kailangan kong i-justify sakanila ang rason kung bakit ko iyon nagawa.
"Agree ako jan." Sabi ni Dellin habang tumatango.
"Oh, who is this little creature? You're so cute!" Messi said and looked closer to Green.
"Oh, that's green. She's my…companion?" I said, unsure how would I introduce the likes of Green. They we're about to say something but the door opening harshly distracted them.
"That is Greed. The King of all Vampires." Lani whispered.
"Greed, as in from the seven deadly sins?" I asked.
"Deadly Kings. They're the deadly kings." Luan corrected. I looked at them confused.
"Each dorm is represented by demons. For example, the vampires, they're represented by Greed and Pride. The shifters, Wrath and Sloth. The hybrids, we're Gluttony. And the glitches and ghosts are Lust and Envy." Luan explained. I gave him a small nod.
"Standing beside him is Pride. He's his right hand. Whatever Greed says, he complies. He does the dirty work for him." Lani said. "You don't want to mess with that two. You'll be their blood source for the rest of your life. Oh, and they're from VAMP dorm, obvi." He warned. I nodded again. Two persons entered the cafeteria.
"That is Envy and Glutton. The Glutton has a ghost twin. They're from GH dorm. Actually there's 4 of them but the other is nowhere to be found." Messi said.
"I thought Gluttons represents the hybrids?" I asked confusedly. Ang gulo ah.
"Yeah. Like I said, he has a ghost twin, making him a hybrid because his other half is a ghost. You know, shifter-ghost thing." Messi said and shrugged. I nodded and looked down again.
They walked towards their group of friends. I looked at the door again when two people entered.
"That's—"
"Wrath and Sloth." I said, introducing them to myself.
"Yeah. Wrath is the king of all deadly kings. He's so scary and intimidating as f*ck. He's also mean and, well…deadly." Dellin says.
"They're from the SH dorm." Lani added.
"You anemic sh*ts still have a face to come here when one of your kind attacked our member!" All shifters growled when their Alpha shouted. I rolled my eyes. Tch. Show off.
"Oh, come on Wrath. What's wrong with a little taste of blood?" Greed says, pissing the Alpha. "Hey, I heard you finally claimed someone." He added. Everyone looked at me. That made Greed and Pride turn to look at me. Wrath, who's clenching his fist and glaring at the vampire king, softened when our eyes met. But before I could stare at his eyes I quickly looked away and stared down at my food.
"D*rn I hate this." I whispered. Napahawak ako sa kamay ni Lani na nasa ilalim ng mesa dahil sa panginginig. F*ck this attention.
"Ah. I see, the rumors are true. There's a girl among us. Pride, would you do the honor and bring our guest here?" I heard Greed said. Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t!
"With pleasure." Pride answered and the next thing I knew, he's beside me. Gripping my arm.
"What the f—" Before I could continue what I wanted to say, he pulled me up. I felt like something pulled and threw me in an multi-dimensional place and then in a blink of an eye, I'm here standing in front of Wrath. Greed beside me and Pride gripping my arm.
"Ow! Hey you sh*t let me go!" I said and tried to pull my arm, but he just gripped it tightly. My chest is starting to feel tight and I feel like I wanted to vomit. Ow sh*t! really?! A panic attack in this situation?! This is so not helping!
All shifters, SH or HYB dormies growled and positioned, ready to attack at their Alpha's command.
"So, what a girl…wait, you smell like human." Greed said and took one step towards me. I took a step backward, but Pride pushed me back. Ay sige teh tulakan tayo dito.
"You…human." Greed said and looked at Wrath. "You claimed a worthless, weak human? How pathetic." He's insulting Wrath. The latter just gave him a blank stare
"Yes. I did. So what?" Wrath answered calmly. Dangerously calm.
Greed turned to look at me before sliding down his hand to my wrist and gripping it.
"Y-you're hurting me!" I shouted, but almost wanted to sink when I saw how he glared at me.
F*ck that eyes!
"I wonder if you taste like other humans." He whispered. I heard Wrath growled. That sparked something inside me and now all I could think off is how I'd like to murder this d*mn vampire in front of me if I'm given the chance.
"Let me go!" I shouted angrily, not caring if he kills me or gets mad and rip my arm. I don't know but I feel like Wraths feeling and mine's…connected. "Leche! Anong lenggwahe ba ang kailangan niyo para lang bitawan niyo ako?! Chinese? Japanese? Korean? Arabic?! P*tang*na!" Gigil na sigaw ko.
"I'm counting in my mind. If you don't release her, you'll get what you're looking for." Wrath's calm but gritting his teeth.
"But I don't want to." Greed said and gripped my wrist tighter. At the same time, I could feel a burning feeling at my back. Oh great! What the heck?!
"O-ow sh*t." I whispered. The murder in my mind was replaced by pain. "I-it hurts. Please." I said, pertaining to my back but it looked like I meant his hand gripping my wrist.
"She's weak. You claimed a weak human." Greed taunted and laughed. Greed was still gripping my wrist and I could feel his nails against my skin.
"F*ck." I whispered when I felt a sting at my arm. I looked at it and almost scream when I saw a long, deep cut on it.
"Tigress!" I looked up at Lani who's holding Green in his hand. Green looked like she's in pain also.
"Oh, looky looky what do we have here?" Greed looked at Lani, who hid Green by slightly closing his hand.
"Don't you f*cking dare." I glared at him but winced when I felt another sting on my arm. "I swear to God lay a hand on her I will f*cking kill you." I warned, but he didn't feel threatened at all. Of course! Why would he feel threatened towards a 'human' like you d*mb*ss.
"Pride, please." He says, looking at Lani with a playful smile on his face. Pride nodded and teleported beside Lani. He snatched Green and took her at the edge, holding her wings.
"No! Leave her alone!" I shouted and tried to get away from his grip. I could feel my blood dripping down to my forearm from my wrist.
"Pride." Greed said. Pride nodded and let go of her wings. My eyes widened as I watch her fall.
"Green!" I shouted. She's in a lot of pain right now that she can't even spread her wings and fly. "Let me go you f*cking son of a b*tch!" I shouted angrily. That fueled something inside me, so I mustered all the strength I got and punched him in his abdomen using my free hand.
Masyadong malayo ang pwesto ko kay Green pero pinilit kong tumakbo at sinubukang saluhin siya. But I shouted as I felt a tighter grip on my wrist than before.
"You're going to pay for that." Greed's pupils are blood red already. And he's glaring at me as if he wanted to eat me whole and alive.
"Sloth." I heard Wrath commanded. Sloth just took a step back and caught green before her head hits the ground.
"I'll give you 5 seconds to release her. 5…"
"I-it burns. P-please let me go." I whispered. I could feel some tears running on my face. My back burns and hurts like hell! My arm also has a lot of deep cuts!
Greed looked at me, shocked when he saw me crying. His eyes came back to normal so he's less scary now. But then, he laughed.
"What a crybaby!" He shouted before throwing me.
I held my arm and gave it pressure to stop the blood flowing out of me. Wrath walked towards me and pulled me up gently before handing Green to me. He's careful not to touch where I'm bleeding. I shrugged his hand off and took a centimeter step away from him.
"Wake up. Green, please wake up—AH!" I shouted when I felt a slash on my back. My legs weakened and I sat on the floor as the pain shot from my back. I could feel the liquid dripping from my back. I wiped it and almost threw up when I felt how deep the cut was. What the f*ck is happening?! Oh no...is this about that oak tree?!
"Oh, my Tigress!" I heard Lani shouted.
"G-green. Hey, wake up. I need you right now." I whispered to Green. Naaawa ako sa kalagayan niya dahil hirap na hirap din siya. She was curled up in a ball.
I glared at Greed who's still laughing as if he found his amusement with what he did and how I looked like right now.
"I am going to kill you!" I shouted and stood up. I don't know where this rage and strength is coming from, but all I want to do now is to wipe that f*cking smile off his face and strangle him to death!
But before I could even take a step forward, Wrath snaked his hand around my waist and pulled me back.
The wound at my back is starting to burn and I feel like it deepened even more.
Then I felt a something or someone glitched beside me. Snatched me from Wrath and the next scenes are blurred. Before I pass out, I heard a loud roar that made my ears ache. And I know who owns that.
