"What's wrong Zephyrus?" Zyphyr
asked his younger brother after he saw him touching his heart. "Is it
her again? Is she okay?"
"She's very happy but, her happiness
came with the obnoxious feeling," Zephyrus answered.
Zephyrus and Zyphyr were at the huge round table with papers
all over. Working at night.
Zephyrus Skylark was the King of Zystyria
Kingdom and Zyphyr was his big brother. The two brothers had lost
their parents long ago they could remember. Zephyrus had always been
the strongest one than Zyphyr and it didn't matter to
Zyphyr he loved his brother regardless and supported him in
everything.
Numerous Kingdoms came to him crying about one thing, about
two men. Two Accountants steal money from them and disappear into thin air.
Long ago, Zephyrus and Zyphyr made an impact by rescuing
people from rogues by using their special powers. The two were
Drafulf, the hybrid of Dragon, Bull, and Lycan and they had noticed
that they were only two left existing on earth so they had to hide
their true identities in all possible ways.
The Kingdom of Zystyria was under attack while Zephyrus and
Zyphyr were on the journey and came to the rescue. They attacked the
rogues without being exposed but they were noticed by the kingdom for
their remarkable job - unfortunately, the king and his family and his more
people were killed.
After the attack. Zephyrus and Zyphyr helped the
kingdom burn the rogues and bury their people.
The people of Zystyria appreciated their
help and in an instant, they made Zephyrus a King, and Zyphyr
became the Accountant of the Kingdom.
"I think you have to search for her again,
I will always love to help to search for
her," Zyphyr's voice was painted with worry.
3 years ago, Zephyrus suddenly started having a
recurring dream of a vague woman. He could feel her emotions and
knew immediately it was his mate. Knowing his people need their
Queen, he embarked on a journey in search of her, but he had no luck till
recently he started feeling her emotions not only in the dream.
"Thank you, brother, let's finish this here
first," Zephyrus said and fixated his eyes on the papers before
him. "I think we will need their physical appearances too."
"Lyrien will do that tomorrow
morning," Zyphyr said.
Lyrien was his follower and Vyn
was Zephyrus's follower but they took them as one of them,
brothers. Lyrien was perfect in drawing all the details being
told about a specific something or a person.
"Let's see," Zephyrus paused. Flipped
two papers, "Kalus Windsorrow and his assistant Gideon…. All of these
papers from different Kingdoms have their names, so they have been stealing
money from the kingdoms for the past 10 years."
"Yes, and two months ago they moved from this
Kingdom and that's where they were last seen."
"Okay, let's check their native
Kingdom and we will go there the day after tomorrow."
After Zyphyr finds a paper where that shows Kalus's and Gideon's origin
Kingdom, he thuds it in front of Zephyrus and says, "I'm going
to rest, I will continue tomorrow and you should do
too."
What Zyphyr didn't know was that Zephyrus was
avoiding going to his room, he didn't want to be alone,
the distraction of the work and Zyphyr being around him was enough for him
not to feel the won's emotions. It was frustrating him so much.
He took a glance at
Zyphyr painting himself as a focused person on the
papers and said, "Good night."
"You have to rest Zephyrus, we will continue
this in the morning again," Zyphyr sternly repeated his
words but knowing his brother, he wasn't going to listen to
him but he needed to say that…. Maybe, just maybe Zephyrus
would listen and rest.
He groaned with a faint sigh. He pushed his back on the
comfortable oak wood chair, rubbed his face, and said, "Okay."
Zyphyr left his sight and walked to his bedroom.
Zephyrus took a moment – and walked barefoot on the slightly
rough dark gray stone floor to his bedroom and when he strode his
large and tall body inside he felt her emotions again. His large
hand was placed on the heart to feel its thudding. Something is not
right…. He said in his mind.
Yes, his mate was happy and he could feel that,
but he couldn't fathom the other feeling coming as obnoxious
through the blissful emotions of hers. He shook his head and then
walked to the bathroom.
One thing about Zephyrus, he was a very excellent
sculptor, carpenter, and decorator. His bedroom was immersive. It was bright
but also dark in the jungle part. It had the bonsai trees inside with waratah
flower, the flower somehow represented his mate, the vague woman
in his dream.
His enormous bathtub was made of dark brown stone,
with a shower made of oak wood, so bright highlighted with dark brown
and black stone as the wall while shielding the shower stall with leaves. His
bedroom was highly different. The king was creative.
After he reigned as the king, he and Zyphyr went into the
forest in the middle of midnight to carry enormous stones, trees, and
everything that could come in handy or be used. They turned the kingdom
down to up in a few weeks and it became the most and high ranked
Kingdom from other Kingdoms.
Zephyrus put himself inside the bathtub with smoke from the
water withering in the air. Thrown his head back to rest on
the edge of the bathtub and started humming. His humming
deafened the bathroom to the bedroom.

"Where's Zephyrus?" Zyphyr
asked whilst pulling out the chair to sit down in the
dining room. His eyes wandered.
"Outside," Vyn said walking with
two bowls from wooden bowls to put them on the granite stone
table. "He woke up very early."
"How do you know?" Zyphyr
asked taking baked bread to his mouth.
Vyn stopped walking to the kitchen, stared at Zyphyr, and
said, "Because I woke up early too and found him here."
"Okay and where is
Lyrien? I'm going to need him to draw sketches of those
bastards."
Vyn knew that Zyphyr didn't need to ask him about
his brother's whereabouts and Lyrien because his senses were pretty
good but Zyphyr would ask anywhere. It was good because Zyphyr and
Zephyrus didn't want to make their followers feel useless. Their
enigmatic abilities enabled them to do 90% of everything.
Zephyrus strode inside the palace talking with
Lyrien and the other two from another kingdom, whom they last saw Kalus and
Gideon for physical description.
"Great," his last word was audible enough for
Vyn to hear when they reached the dinner room. "Join us for
breakfast." Zephyrus gestured the guests to their seats.
After breakfast, the two gentlemen followed Zephyrus and
Zyphyr to the room they were in last night, they called it a meeting room,
with one large round table and one large shelf with a few books and papers
inside upstairs.
The men described Kalus and Gideon very well that Lyrien had
detailed them vividly.
Zephyrus used his molding stone to print more of their face
descriptions on paper. To send the word out to all the kingdoms.
The kingdom helped, by pasting their faces
everywhere and sending out letters to as many kingdoms as they could
think of.
Zyphyr was driving the car and heard a faint groan from
Zephyrus. He abruptly stopped when he saw the sour pained face of his
little brother on the passenger seat. Zyphyr had wished he
could just go on a hunt on his own to find
his brother's mate.
"Look at me and breathe," Zyphyr said with
Vyn and Lyrien hopped out of the car and opened the passenger door to
help.
But what Zyphyr didn't know, was
that…. Zephyrus was not feeling pain but pleasure from his mate. The pleasure
he was trying to resist so much because it came with jealousy. How could his
mate become aroused while he's not beside her? Who was giving her
that pleasure?
He growled at the thought of his mate sleeping with another
male.
"I'm okay," he said while taking a deep
breath in.
"What did you feel this time?" Zyphyr asked
with a concerned face.
Zephyrus gulped audibly with an answer of, "Her
arousal."
Gosh! Zyphyr became mute with Vyn and Lyrien
stared at each other and said nothing.
"Continue driving," Zephyrus
said and Zephyr revved the car.
A few hours later, while they were driving north. A man
approached the car in darkness, out of the woods. Zyphyr pulled over
the car and Zephyrus swiftly hopped out and walked to him.
The man looked so tired that Zephyrus felt that his legs
were numb and caught him before falling.
"I know where Kalus and his assistant
are," the man said in his raspy whispering voice.
Vyn came running with water inside a brown leather sack.
Zephyrus put him inside the car as he helped him to drink water.
"Are you okay? And did you walk here? Where are you
from? And what is your name?" Zephyrus asked while reading his mind.
He knew that the man was too tired to utter more words, so asking him would
make him think of the answers and he got everything.
Calanthir Kingdom…. He said it in his mind.
