Chapter 28 - CHAPTER TWENTY THREE: THE POWER OF NATURE PART (2)

William looked at the ones who had been blown away by his pressure, his gaze shaking the very fabric of reality. Orion was near Lyra, protecting her.

Ophiscus and the rest of the sages too were blown away to the corners of the room; each had blood leaking from their lips. William watched them coldly, his eyes never wavering.

He then turned towards his mothers; his eyes softened as soon as his gaze fell upon them. A small smile appeared on his face as he slowly fell on the floor, losing consciousness.

Carina immediately caught William, her eyes tender and filled with love as she looked at him. "Big sister, Call in Sebastian and tell him to take care of them." She said as she turned towards Aquila, "Also bring Orion and Lyra with us."

Aquila nodded at this and went outside the meeting hall to call Sebastian; her eyes were still shining, she shivered once in a while as she recalled William's words.

'That voice was so heavy, it felt like I was listening to a commandment.' She muttered inwardly.

She reached Sebastian, who was in the kitchen, overlooking the preparations for the feast. Sebastian turned towards the sounds of footsteps and saw Aquila walking towards him in great strides.

"Lady Aquila, what can I do for you?" He asked.

"I want you to come with me and also bring some of the men in the mansion with you." Aquila ordered.

Sebastian thought that the order was a little strange but still nodded his head and asked a maid near him to bring some of the gardeners.

A few minutes later, the gardeners of the mansion arrived with the maid; they were taken aback when they saw Aquila.

Without further ado, Aquila motioned the men to follow her. They reached the meeting hall. Sebastian's eyes widened as his gaze fell upon the unconscious people.

He looked at Aquila, who was walking over to Orion and Lyra for an explanation. But much to his disappointment, all he got was more orders.

"Sebastian, take them to the infirmary and get them healed. I will talk to you later." Ara said, She walked over to Lyra, and Princess carried her. She turned towards her sister Aquila, who was carrying Orion like a sandbag.

The trio exited the meeting hall, with Carina carrying William, and walked towards their room.

'What happened here?' Sebastian exclaimed inwardly; not only him, but the rest of the men too had shocked looks on their faces as they recognized the people lying on the floor.

'The world's strongest were thrown away like a dirt rag?' Questioned one of the gardeners to himself.

"All of you." Sebastian muttered as he turned around; his voice was cold and killing intent was leaking from him as he continued, "Shut your mouths about this, if word ever goes out…"

Sebastian didn't continue and left it for their imagination. The men gulped their saliva, terrified. Fear evident in their eyes.

Sebastian nodded his head, satisfied with the reaction, and said, "Now, bring everyone carefully to the infirmary." He then turned towards the maid who accompanied him, "Call in other maids and bring the Ladies to the infirmary."

.

"T-That was something!" Ara muttered as she placed Lyra on their bed.

"Yes," Carina replied, seemingly in a daze.

Ara frowned at her sister's reaction and asked, "Are you not surprised, sister?"

Carina, listening to Ara, shook her head and mumbled, "I am shocked, but also disappointed."

"Disappointed?"

"Yes, William's gaze back there; he looked at his own siblings with an indifferent gaze."

Aquila and Ara both slumped at hearing their sister. Aquila bit her lip in worry and asked, "Aren't they close? Then why?"

"They are close sisters; it's just that they aren't close enough." Carina answered.

"What do you mean, sister?" Ara questioned.

"William did not look at us indifferently, but his eyes softened when he looked at us, correct?"

Aquila and Ara both nodded at this. The three sisters saw William smile when he looked at them.

"I just think that our children are not close enough with our youngest." Carina concluded.

"Then what is the solution? I don't want William to look at his own siblings like that." Ara asked worriedly.

"They need to spend time together; I think the best way is to make Orion and Lyra train him." Carina responded.

Both Aquila and Ara nodded their heads in agreement.

"Ugh!"

Aiden grunted as he slowly opened his eyes. His insides were still aching in pain, but he endured it.

"Rise and shine, sunshine!" Ancha mocked; she was sitting on her bed beside his.

"Ugh!" Aiden gruntled again, 'Ah! She had to be the first person I had to see.'

"How are you feeling?" Lucien asked, sitting on the other side of Aiden.

"I have a little pain, but other than that, I am okay." Aiden replied. He looked over the room to see the rest of the sages sitting on their respective beds.

Lucien nodded in response. "Looks like we have experienced the power of nature firsthand!" he muttered, looking outside the window in a daze.

The room fell silent listening to his words; everyone shivered in unison as they recalled the incident.

"Hmm, looks like you've realized just how powerful one aspect of nature is." Gaia said with a small smile.

"Lady Gaia, where were you? Were you not affected?" Amaris asked in curiosity.

Gaia shook her head and replied, "This is not my real body; my body is the world itself. This is just a projection of me, made out of mana." Gaia informed.

Everyone nodded at the information.

"But what do you mean by 'One aspect of nature', Lady Gaia?" Ophiscus asked, recalling her words.

"What I mean is, That power is just a part of nature. 'The power of domination.'" Gaia explained. "It is the nature's will to dominate. Since William's attribute is nature, he can use it."

Everybody's eyes widened in astonishment.

'I thought it was ridiculous that he can use every kind of attribute that is known, but this is just way beyond ridiculous.' Vela thought in amazement.

'I understood his prowess when I listened to Lady Gaia, but I have understood now what it means to have the attribute 'Nature.'' Lucien muttered inwardly.

The rest of them had similar thoughts and were amazed and thrilled to envision the future when William becomes a sage.

Ancha's face fell low as she recalled the events that led to the incident and mumbled, "But he refused to train."

Her words brought everyone else from their dream lands.

'That's right, he refused to train.' Amaris recalled.

"That's because you have given him no say in the matter." Gaia responded, answering their confusion as to why he said no.

"You have never asked him what he thinks and what he wants to do." Gaia said.

'Even I never asked him what he wanted.' Gaia lamented on her failure to consider William's feelings.

"But he has to train and get powerful." Amaris said, "The oncoming army would not care about his feelings."

"Yes, and for that he needs to train, but on his terms, or at least the ones he loves dearly." Gaia said while looking at Ophiscus.

"His mothers." Ophiscus muttered, realizing what Gaia meant.

"Correct." Gaia nodded. "If his mothers were the first ones to train him, I don't think he would have any problems. In fact, I think he would be happy."

"Yes, I can agree with that. He loves his mothers very much." Ophiscus added.

"Then what about other attributes? He needs to master at least the ones we know." Ancha asked.

"I suggest that we go with the previous plan, but we will start with his mothers, and then we will make our children train him." Lucien added.

"I don't have any problem with that either, but remember. William needs to be okay with the training. Otherwise, we will witness something far more dangerous than the oncoming army. I can promise you that." Gaia warned.

Everyone else nodded in response. Amaris then said, "Then why don't my daughter stay here? When William is more familiar with her, she can start training him in darkness."

He pointed his finger at his daughter, startling her.

Amaris' daughter knew why her father had brought her here. 'It feels awkward knowing that essentially I am going to seduce a 10-year-old child.' She was disgusted by the thought but also understood that this was the best choice.

'And also, he will become truly powerful in the future. I guess it might not be that bad.' she conceded.

Ophiscus stared at Amaris' daughter a few seconds before nodding his head and muttered, "I don't have any problem with it; I also don't think his mothers would also have any problems either."

He understood Amaris' intentions and didn't think much of it since that's what rulers had been doing to avoid a major intercontinental war for generations.

"Then why don't we go meet William?" Ancha asked; somehow she was eager to see him again.

Everyone then walked towards the room William was in and entered. When Ophiscus opened the door, William, who had regained his consciousness, came running down.

Ophiscus widened his arms to catch the running William. 'He never changes.' He thought while shaking his head as he recalled scolding William to not run in the house.

But he was frozen stiff when William ran past him and hugged his sister, Vela. He slowly turned to them, his mouth twitching as he watched William tightly hug Vela and apologize.

"Looks like you don't win against the women in your house, 'o' strongest sage." Aiden mocked Ophiscus; he had a big grin on his face as he watched Ophiscus' face turn red in shame.

'That brat!' Ophiscus slowly pulled his hands in and watched William.

"I am sorry, Aunt Vela." William apologized, his eyes welled up in tears as he looked at her.

Vela ruffled William's hair and replied, "Fufufu, no need to worry about it, William; I know you didn't do it on purpose." Her words comforted William, who was buried in sorrow.

He then turned towards the rest and bowed and apologized, "I am sorry." His innocent voice resounded in the room.

"It's okay, William; we know you didn't do it on purpose. And we too were in the wrong to not consider your feelings." Ancha replied.

He then straightened his back and looked at everyone. His gaze fell on Amaris' daughter, and tilted his head, confused as to why a woman his siblings' age was doing with the rulers of the world.

Amaris, noticing William's gaze on his daughter, stepped forward, grabbing the opportunity, and introduced her, "William, meet my daughter, Achlys Abnus Ravina. I want you to become friends with her."

"H-Hello"
