[Week 12: The Joy of the Wolf King's Brief Return.]
[The old man Bjorn, who had woken up early, announced this exciting news.]
[In their excitement, the Space Wolves launched an expedition called "The Great Hunt."]
[Originally, the Great Hunt was meant to track the whereabouts of the Wolf King, Leman Russ.]
[However, this time it was merely to celebrate the Wolf King's return and share the Space Wolves' fervor with the Empire's hated enemies.]
[You gaze at the Thunderhawk transports flying out of the Bloodfire and Dawn's Gate.]
[They carry a multitude of howling Astartes Chaplains and many ground vehicles, joining the Emperor-class battleship Pride of Fenris, which remains stationed in Fenris' orbit.]
[As a new Blood Claw recruit, you are unable to join in this grand celebration and must remain at Wolf's Tooth Fortress.]
[With a complex expression, you turn and glance at Lucas, whose yellow eyes are wide and grinning.]
[Not long ago, you had just experienced the sorrow of the Space Wolf leadership and understood why they had refused to let Lucas join other great packs.]
[On your first day as the Blood Claw leader, Lucas tricked you into drinking his homemade 'exclusive honey wine.']
[The horrifying toxicity of that 'exclusive honey wine' nearly overwhelmed even the Astartes' renowned detoxification abilities.]
[You had to rely on your special constitution to survive the poisoning.]
[After recovering, you chased Lucas for an entire day, swinging your power axe, 'Frostfang,' while the whole of Wolf's Tooth Fortress echoed with your furious howls and curses.]
[In the end, it was old man Bjorn who intervened.]
[He mediated the conflict between you and Lucas and strongly forbade him from playing any further pranks on you.]
[However, Lucas is not without merit.]
[In fact, having been demoted to a Blood Claw, his combat skills and experience rival those of veteran Wolf Guard.]
[Your combat abilities steadily improved through training with him.]
[You also used a "tough love" approach to drill your Blood Claw squad, keeping the fiery-tempered recruits in check.]
[This unintentionally made your Blood Claw squad one of the best among the new recruits… at least, they no longer blindly charged into enemy lines.]
[They had temporarily learned to fight with their minds, not their animal instincts.]
[Week 13: While training, you unexpectedly received a report from a Blood Claw recruit.]
[The recruit urgently informed you that a terrifying message had arrived from a Chaos Lord of the Traitor Legions, the Heralds of Ruin.]
[It stated that it would descend from orbit and destroy the entire Wolf's Tooth Fortress.]
[You took a deep breath, expressionless, and picked up Frostfang from beside you.]
[You and the Blood Claw recruit rushed to the Watch Hall.]
[This is the operations center of Wolf's Tooth Fortress.]
[As soon as you entered the Watch Hall, you saw Lucas arguing with the Heralds of Ruin Chaos Lord.]
[The Blood Claw recruits, all exchanging glances, bared their teeth but did not dare to intervene in Lucas' reckless actions.]
[At this moment, the Heralds of Ruin Chaos Lord, utterly enraged, seemed to have lost all reason.]
[It even demanded a dramatic one-on-one duel with Lucas, offering him a 'proper execution.']
[You did not stop Lucas' actions.]
[Although Lucas enjoys pranking, he is never careless when it comes to facing the forces of Chaos.]
[You calmly reassured the restless Blood Claw recruits.]
[Sure enough, after the communication link was severed, Lucas, with his yellow eyes blinking, turned to you and revealed his plan.]
[While the enemy's ship defenses were down, he had secretly uploaded a data-corruption virus to the Chaos Lord's ship.]
[This would cause them to misinterpret Fenris' planetary coordinates.]
[You furrowed your brow and asked Lucas where the true location of the Chaos Lord's descent was.]
[Lucas, grinning with his red hair, said the duel would take place in the center of the Sea of Lost Souls.]
[That is a terrifying ocean on Fenris, a place even the Astartes Chaplains do not dare to venture too deeply.]
[Countless terrifying sea monsters and extreme cold weather will teach the Heralds of Ruin Chaos Lord a lesson they will never forget.]
[You expressed your admiration for Lucas' cleverness.]
[However, you were not fully convinced that the Chaos Lord would follow Lucas' plan.]
[You took temporary command and ordered all Blood Claw recruits to gear up and take charge of the fortress' defense.]
[Armed with an explosive shotgun and your Frostfang power axe, you ordered Lucas to pilot a Thunderhawk transport to the Sea of Lost Souls.]
[Throughout the journey, Lucas kept complaining that his plan was foolproof.]
[The ice in the center of the Sea of Lost Souls is incredibly fragile and cannot support the weight of a spaceship landing.]
[You said nothing in response.]
[You believed that Fenris' winter was not yet over, and there was no guarantee that the Chaos Lord would survive.]
[The best plan was to go to the scene personally.]
[If the Chaos Lord somehow survived, the two of you would be more than capable of taking down a Heralds of Ruin Chaos Lord.]
[The engines of the Thunderhawk roared as it flew over countless mountains and valleys, gradually entering the icy expanse of the Sea of Lost Souls.]
[You strapped Frostfang to your back, your armored hand gripping the explosive shotgun.]
[You opened the Thunderhawk's door.]
[The biting cold wind whipped across your face, unprotected by a helmet, and rough snowflakes struck your finely crafted power armor.]
["Lucas! Accelerate!" you shouted to Lucas in the cockpit.]
[As your gaze swept over the Sea of Lost Souls, you occasionally saw huge shadows rolling beneath the dark ice and enormous eyes like those of a Valkyrie transport.]
[They were some kind of terrifying sea monsters.]
[There were countless such creatures throughout the depths of the Sea of Lost Souls.]
[Soon, the Thunderhawk, flying at high speed, passed over the outer Sea of Lost Souls and entered its inner region.]
[You saw a crack in the ice that stretched for nearly a hundred kilometers, with a Chaos ship bound tightly by enormous, terrifying tentacles.]
[The Chaos ship was rapidly sinking into the cold, deep sea.]
["Damn Chaos! Take this Fenrisian sea monster whip!"]
[You seemed to hear Lucas' excited shout from the cockpit.]
[With a helpless expression, you slowly lowered your prepared explosive shotgun.]
[However, from the corner of your eye, you noticed a flickering teleportation light on the fragile ice.]
[A figure wearing blue power armor, with winged devices extending from the back of its helmet, suddenly appeared.]
[Without hesitation, the figure raised its hand and unleashed a terrifying psychic attack on the Thunderhawk.]
["Lucas! Emergency evasive maneuvers!"]
[Your roar seemed to pierce the thunderhawk's engine noise.]
