"Here, for the trouble." The beastkin noble man collected the little bag of coins and handed it over to Mark.
Mark paused for a second, he looked to the eyes of the lord and then the bag of coins. He then took the coins and turned.
"Just keep your men in check." He stated and then soared into the sky.
"My lord, you're not seriously considering letting him go. We have reasons to believe that that was the belt of greater will, the same belt we've lost men to in the past."
"Rafire, he won the belt with his own effort and put his life on the line just like the others, if he has the belt, then he surely deserves it, don't you think? And besides, it doesn't seem like anyone but him can don the belt, for you would have laid claim to it before I arrived, possibly choosing to be this town's new mayor."
Rafire feigned a cough and sat back down.
