Mark couldn't help but think of the fairy he had seen, its blue glow, unblemished skin and glassy wings were things that would forever remain etched in his mind.
He walked through the trees in hopes of seeing another. Though he was strong beyond an orc and could fly, seeing in the dark posed quite the challenge for him, and he hit his face on tree stems more than twice till he had Flit lead him.
The ant-sized spirit guardian could as well be a fairy of the night with its blue glow and size. Mark was hoping that would bring more fairies to them. Perhaps they'll think Flit was one of their own and approach him, or perhaps it'll be their curiosity of one so different.
Mark's belly rumbled, the chase had used up most of his energy, and he needed to recharge. He was beginning to feel the faint pang of hunger deep within him, though he couldn't search for food now.
