"She is with me," Makita said, pausing at the door, watching the two men. She knew she was going to meet Ditun here, as surely the demon must have come to confront Maximum about her whereabouts.
Ditun was about to stand on his feet and teach this demon woman a lesson when Maximum held his wrist, sensing what he was about to do. Even though he truly couldn't wait for the day Ditun would fight against someone, this wasn't the day for it.
"Damn it," Ditun cursed, holding himself back only because of Maximum. Hell knew what would happen the minute he goes berserk, and Maximum was aware of that, which is why he held him back.
Maximum gazed at Makita with a frown, "What have you done?"
"She is alive," Makita informed, rolling her eyes at Maximum's quick glare, "I couldn't kill her after finding out about her connection with Ditun."
"Who told you you could harm her?" Ditun growled, trying to keep his anger in check.
