The Ringmaster's voice cut through the tension between Báthory and Alexander, drawing all eyes back to the center of the arena. "But wait, there's more!" he cried, his enthusiasm seemingly inexhaustible. "Our lineup of legendary Harbingers is not yet complete!"
With a dramatic spin, the Ringmaster pointed to another ornate box. "From the marble halls of New Rome, the man who made an empire and a salad – Julius Caesar!"
The spotlight revealed the imposing figure of Caesar, his human and minotaur aspects blended into a being of terrible majesty.
The Ringmaster affected an exaggerated Roman accent. "Ave, Caesar! I'd say beware the Ides of March, but I hear you've got that covered now, eh?"
Caesar's stoic expression cracked slightly, a wry smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
The crowd roared with laughter, some of the bolder spirits even daring to shout their own salad-related jokes.
