Art looked at his stats and saw that most of the stats had already been doubled and he had only had the system a week. Art looked at the exp and saw that he didn't just get the rest of the exp he needed to level up but instead got as much as he needed for 1 full level.
Art took up the quest tab and looked at the main quest which was empty. Art got back to his stat screen and decided to wait to arrange his three stat points until after the evolution.
Art looked at the race tab and took a deep breath.
[Are you sure you want to evolve your race]
[Once evolved there is no way back]
[Yes/No]
Art thought for a second and then said yes.
[Evolution will begin shortly]
Art waited three seconds and suddenly a pain like no pain he had ever felt. Art started to scream right out as it felt like he was burning up from the inside. Art felt how his eyes were about to pop out. His ears started to ring and his brain felt like it was getting mushed. After around 10 minutes of the pain he started to feel like his bones started to grow and his muscles tear themselves apart just to build new ones.
After 30 minutes of the greatest pain Art had felt in his life he saw a message

Art saw a timer appear but he quickly lost consciousness.
6 hours later Stacy opened the door to their apartment and said
"I'm home!" but as Stacy didn't get any reply she became worried as he said that he would be home after lunch. Stacy walked into the Kitchen and didn't see him there. After the kitchen she walked into the living room and lastly found him in his bed.
At first Stacy didn't think much about it but when she saw the painful expression on his face she became more worried. When Stacy was close enough she touched his back which was really sweaty.
Stacy looked at him and decided to let him sleep but she wanted to at least get him some new clothes. Stacy took the hoodie he was wearing and dragged it over his head. Stacy dropped the hoodie on the floor when she saw all the scars on his back.
"What have you done... Was it because of me?" Stacy started crying and sat by his side for 20 minutes. Stacy wiped the tears and took one of his sweaters and pulled it over him. When she had put it on him Stacy realized that it was way too small for him. Stacy took it off and tried another one but it was the same size. She looked at him and realized he had gained a lot of muscles. Stacy gave up on finding a sweater that suited him.
Stacy looked at Art who was sleeping and decided to go to sleep early.
The next morning when she woke up she looked at Art and checked his pulse to see if he even was alive. Thankfully he had a normal pulse and she just let him sleep. Stacy got ready and wrote a message on a bit of paper and put it on the kitchen table.
"I'm going to Lily's house today. I will be home around the same time as yesterday."
After Stacy was done with writing she left.

Art's mouth was left wide open as he saw that all his stats had increased by 10 and that he also had gotten mana. Art looked at his new race and wondered what a Phoenix was. When Art inspected his Race he was shocked.
[Phoenix is a bird that originated from the sun. The Phoenix has fire powers and strength like no other creature and It's immortal]
Art was surprised by the description but didn't think much about it.
When Art got down to the skill tab and saw that he had learned two new skills.

Art first saw that his inspect skill had been upgraded and was now level 2. The interesting skills were the two new ones he had gotten after evolving.
Art looked at the first of the too and its description came up

[Partial transformation allows you to transform 50% of you to a Phoenix. You can be in the Phoenix state longer if you increase Endurance]
Art read the line and thought about the possibilities. Art thought for a while until he was too curious to see what the other skill was.

[Fire shot allows you to shoot fire from your hand. It gets more powerful if you increase intelligence]
Art looked at his hands and got out of his bed when he walked to the bathroom he saw someone else in the mirror. Art saw someone tall and handsome with well defined muscles. It was obvious that he was longer than before. He was at least 190 cm. Art used to be 180 cm which was't short but he was much longer now.
Art fixed himself and ate some breakfast. When Art looked at the table he read the note that Stacy had written. "I have at least 2 hours until she comes back. I have enough time to test my new skills.
