After taking his things from the dormitories and settling in with his master, Eiji and his master Muri are now sitting at the backyard of the house.
"Eiji where's the letter for the invitations?!"
"Here master!"
Eiji took it out and handed it to his master.
"No, don't give it to me, just open it and see which departments are inviting you!"
"Hmm!"
Nodding his head, Eiji opened the envelope.
"Huh?! Master! There's only a single letter here!"
"Hahha! Yup that's right! Open it up!"
"Okay!"
Although skeptical, Eiji opened the folded yet surprisingly thick piece of paper.
When Eiji opened the paper he saw words that were arrange in a pentagon.
The one above says Warrior Department written in black ink with a bronze stamp with the department's double crossed sword logo in it. The upper left side says Scholar Department still written in a black ink but has a line below the words with a brush and a sword crossed with each other as a logo. The Lower Left side says IAI Department written in black ink with a weird trangle logo with an eye in its center. Then the lower right side has a rectangular box in all black with white ink writing Assassinations Department with no logo.
While the last one in the upper right side was written in golden letters that says Shimin Training Department!
All five departments were actually inviting Eiji in!
Eiji was shocked when he saw this.
He then looked at his master, who was smiling at him.
"Based on your expression, it seems all of them invited you right?!"
Eiji nodded.
"Now Eiji, although I told you that I was from the Assassinations Department, that doesn't mean that I also want you to be in there, but still, the decision is still yours!"
Muri smiled at Eiji. He wants Eiji to decide for himself.
Eiji stared at the paper in his hand as he listened to his master.
Regardless, Eiji knew that the Assassinations Department and The Shimin Training Department are the two Departments that interested him most.
But he had already made up his mind, he looked up at Muri, took a deep breathe and said.
*Sigh!
"Master! I have decided!"
Muri smiled.
"Well Eiji, If you have made up your mind, just channel your ki in your finger, tap on the department that you want to join. After that, you will be given the address and date in which you will be coming in for an interview of sorts or more like introductions."
Eiji nodded his head.
*Bzzt!
Eiji channelled his ki in his index finger, and calmly tapped on the department he wanted to join.
After tapping the department he wanted to join, the other departments written slowly vanished and the department he chose also slowly went to the center of the paper, becoming a string of letters.
'City Library.
Date : xx/xx/xx
Time : xx : xx
Say To The Librarian: I Am Looking For The Records Of The Black Katanas'
The letter has given him the place, date, time and what he has to say to get Access in the department.
Eiji looked up to his master.
"Well, since you know the exact time and place on where you have to go, then burn it up!"
"Okay!"
Acknowledging his master, Eiji took a flint inside the house and burned the letter.
He once again looked at his master.
"Well... What did you choose?"
"Uhmm.. The Assassinations Department."
"Hmmm... I See... Well, that's fine too!"
Muri smiled at Eiji.
He had known that telling Eiji which department he was in back in the day would result in him also choosing that department, but he still wants Eiji to choose for himself.
He really wanted him to be in the Shimin Training Department but since he had already chosen, there's nothing more to think about.
"Now Eiji, since you have chosen the Assassinations Department, I want you to be ready!
Very ready! This department needs, swift and precise swordsmen as well as fast and stealthy!
And especially so having a strong mental fortitude!
The mission would always comes first and you have to steel your heart into killing someone if it compromises your mission or your identity!"
Eiji nodded at Muri's words.
He understood the severity of the words his master had said.
If he wasn't wrong, he also would have to kill an innocent person, if they knew what mission he is undertaking regardless if they found it out accidentally or not!
*Huuuu!!!
Eiji took a deep breathe and looked at his master's eyes with determination.
"Don't worry Master! I will be... Fine!"
Muri smiled at him nooded his head and said.
"Well.. you will still be trained for a few months up to a year, so you can slowly take and learn everything then!"
Eiji nodded his head.
"For now lets eat and celebrate your graduation and your department acceptance!
Oh! and as well as you being in your new home now!"
Muri smiled warmly at Eiji.
"Yes! Thank you master!"
Both of them went inside the house preparing for a feast for the both of them, happily eating and talking.
*End Of Chapter.
