The first cell seemed to be all that was needed for a terrifying domino effect to occur.
In the blink of an eye, thousands of cells had formed but this only seemed to be the beginning.
The cells endlessly multiplied and interlinked to form a complex structure—to form life.
The outline of a body began to form.
WHOOOOOOOOOSH!
A terrifying amount of aether was sucked into each cell and immediately, the process sped up by a hundredfold.
Amon's body reformed at neck-breaking speeds and at the same time, so did his mind, using that last spark as a foundation to truly transform and change him.
'Hm…'
With an imposing frame, standing at six foot seven, skin as white as snow and long hair just as white, he seemed to be an entirely new entity.
His jade white skin tightly hugged his toned and perfect compact muscles as all over his new figure, veins could be seen, carrying his new thick emerald blood, infused with ungodly amounts of aether.
Around him, the shadow of a grand serpent could be seen as it too underwent changes.
PAH!
The endless amount of aether marks that had been on each of the white spheres that formed his cells suddenly manifested all over his skin but immediately, they seemed to melt and permanently fuse into his body.
WHOOOSH!
A cocoon formed around his body and aether continued to be infused into Amon's new divine figure.
With every pulse, the sound of glass shattering echoed.
Slowly, a calamity was being birthed.
.
.
.
.
.
An unknown amount of time later, the cocoon burst apart, once again revealing Amon's figure.
'Hm…'
His mind stirred and slowly, his eyes opened, revealing their new emerald luster to the world.
They swirled with currents of green and light tints of dark blue within their depths, stars of purple and red could be seen.
For a moment, Amon's mind was blank, unable to understand what was happening, who he was and more importantly, what he was.
A screen appeared before him and as soon as he gazed at it, it all came rushing back like a burst dam, memories of a lifetime rushing in to fill his mind.
He closed his eyes and basked in the endless years of memory he'd accumulated and strangely enough, he didn't seem to be overwhelmed or saddened by them.
He took a deep breath in then exhaled.
'Status.'

Amon didn't have much of a reaction to this, merely nodding to himself.
The world's aether gently carried him down and his feet were finally able to touch the cold stone floor of the cave.
Looking around, Amon raised a brow of surprise, unable to believe an underground place could be so wide.
The floor was tinted with green patches of moss as despite the lack of any torches, the place was naturally lit up by fireflies and bioluminescent lifeforms that exuded a faint dark emerald light.
The ceiling of this cave was beyond tall and yet, somehow, his gaze could see the countless crystals that were embedded within it.
All around him, that's all there was. An endless field of moss and stone, strange plants, and fireflies.
'So I have died and come back. I have died and come back as an abomination.'
Looking at his jade white hands, Amon felt his heart slightly tremble but he soon extinguished any sort of doubt and fear from his heart.
As his status had told, though he'd become an undead, he wasn't the average undead.
A god dying to then become an undead could not be compared to a mere mortal human dying to then become an undead. They fundamentally played on a different plane of existence.
And even then, though it seemed like the H tier was low, it was still miles above anything a human could be.
'Mordred…are you okay..?'
The phantom of the serpent that slithered around his body suddenly solidified.
[Father! Father! Father!]
Her cries of joy brought a smile to Amon's face as he caressed and patted her head while her reptile tongue covered his face in kisses.
After spending a few minutes comforting her, she finally calmed down and her phantom fused back into him, reflected by a beautiful runic tattoo that danced along his spine and around his right leg.
'Strange…I didn't think you'd grow this much.'
[Whatever strange evolution you went through allowed your soul to fundamentally change and indirectly, I grew!]
'That's good.' He smiled. 'But is it supposed to be like this? Don't symbiotes normally have to wait until the original soul has manifested before they can grow?'
[Normally, they do but remember, father, your soul is special. Upon your system awakening, I immediately gained consciousness rivaling that of an upper tier symbiote, which normally should've never happened.]
[I even directly got access to the universal records of systems, which is something that shouldn't have happened for a long time. Especially considering you awakened an independent system.]
[I think this last experience was just the final push needed for whatever strange mutation I had to be completed. Now as long as you grow stronger, so will I. It won't be long before you can summon me during battle and my spectral body is complete!]
Though he was a bit confused by it all, Amon smiled and cheered alongside her.
'What should my next step be…'
As Amon considered his next move, the cave's strange beauty and eerie tranquility sank in. He knew he needed to learn more about his new existence, his powers, and the world around him.
Exploration and understanding would be his first steps. He had to find out where he was and how to navigate this new life.
