Aurora didn't stop waving at nanny su as the carriage rode, until she was out of sight. She felt a pang of sadness, she would miss nanny su very much. She had never gone anywhere without nanny su tagging along with her. The journey from stonewall to Snowdon was not that long but she was already feeling sick having to sit in a carriage all day. Beside her was the feared alpha warrior, Lord Adrian, and her husband. He sat there quietly looking out the window, he had hardly said a word at the reception. The journey was a quiet and awkward one for Aurora. The carriage finally got to a mighty wall, she had heard rumors about the walls of Snowdon, how no one had ever been able to penetrate the walls without getting killed.
The wooden gate opened, and the carriage rode into Snowdon. It was a beautiful view, the place was buzzing with all sort of activities. The sent of flowers filled the atmosphere as the carriage passed a flower shop. The carriage came to a halt at the front of a building, it wasn't that big though but from the looks, one could tell that it belonged to a noble man.
"We're here, Lord Adrian" the carriage rider said.
Lord Adrian got down from the carriage heading for the building, Aurora got down and followed behind him.
"Adrian!!" The voice of a little girl was heard as she rushed towards Adrian and embraced him.
"You promised to come home early, you missed my initiation ceremony, brother" the little girl said.
The feared Lord Adrian had a little sister? The little girl was a wolf too, but she looked all innocent with those looks in her eyes, how could she possibly be a wolf? According to the rumors she had heard, wolves devour humans, but with the innocent looks in her eyes Aurora doubted if she was a wolf at all.
"I'm sorry I missed it, It'll never happen again I promise" Adrian replied. This was the first time she had seen lord Adrian smile, a genuine smile at that.
"I won't get initiated twice" the little girl said folding her hands.
"I apologize" Adrian replied her.
Her eyes drifted to Aurora's direction, she had a smile that Aurora couldn't quite read on her face.
"Big brother, is this your bride? She's pretty" she said as rushed over to aurora.
At this point Aurora didn't know what to say, she just smiled at the little girl.
"Luna, would you mind allowing the young lady have a rest?" A feminine voice came.
Aurora turned her gaze to the direction of the voice. A young lady with a long blonde hair dancing in the wind as she approached them, her pair of unique green eyes came into view. Could she be a wolf too?
"I'll escort the young lady to her room, Adrian I'll meet you at the library, there's something we have to discuss" the lady said. She smiled at Aurora, but her eyes weren't smiling at all, she had these serious look in her eyes.
Aurora nodded and followed her as she led her into the building.
